This ceiling fan was bought for our living room as it was very warm and rather dark. The remote control is fantastic, and it is great to be able to change all the fan setting from a chair! On the settings we use it is essentially silent. On higher settings the sound s more annoying, so wouldn't recommend it for a bedroom is you want lots of air movement. The media could not be loaded. We are replacing an outdoor fan in an enclosed patio area, and this one appealed to me because of its simple design. Our current one has blades that have been faded by the elements and has three light fixtures that are hard to clean. It seems like that will be less of an issue with this fan. The light cover and blades are plasticky, but the overall style is nice. We are delayed in installing it due to the hurricane we had, but I should have an update soon. The instruction manual is fairly clear, although it also gives instructions for other models. It took me a while to figure out that I received the "Void," since mailing stickers were placed over that information on the side of the box. Update (12/23/2022): Finally got this put in. Our handyman found this a little confusing but got it installed fairly easily. I'm not sure if I would chose this for indoors, but it looks nice in an enclosed patio. I find it to be really quiet, and at the higher levels it has a decent breeze. It is a fairly small fan, so I think it is best for small rooms. ... show more

This little fan is quiet, efficient, and works unbelievably well! I was super surprised by how well it immediately cooled down the main area of my house when I thought my previous, larger fan was doing a decent job. I primarily got a new fan just to update the overall aesthetics of the room and this one certainly did that! The media could not be loaded. I really like this fan and even though we have an old Victorian house, it seems to fit right in. Very quiet (love that compared to old-fashioned fans). Gives off a very nice breeze and the remote control is awesome. One little thing... There are a LOT of wires to fit into the box before you slide your final cover plate on (up against the ceiling). I wish they had made that a little bit bigger. You can also see in the video I messed up the sheetrock a little, but that is on me. ... show more
