The unit came neatly packaged under a brand name different than listing but it was exact same so no worries there. The instructions manual just has pictures to figure out steps. It was easy to put it together and installed in 30 mins. The fan blades can be installed on either side based on color preference. The remote comes with its own instructions. It needs 2 AAA batteries. The fan has a forward and backward motion. Each has 6 speed modes with good power. The lamp fixture already has a light board that has three different brightness modes. Have to press the same light button on and off on the remote to cycle (which is annoying). There are fortunately different buttons for operating fan and light. Overall, it has good build quality and great addition to any small to medium sized room. Installation: Start with the blades arm, blades and lamp base being installed to the fan motor assembly. The lamp base slides on to the assembly. Then take out the hanger bracket and mount it by itself to the ceiling. In my case, I took out existing light fixture and screwed it on to the bracket that was on the ceiling. Next, take the fan wiring box and attach the black and white wires with the corresponding color wires from the ceiling. Next step will be easier with two people as it requires holding the fan motor assembly up towards the ceiling while connecting the push pin connectors from fan wiring box to the inside of the assembly. Once done, attach the assembly to the hanger bracket and twist to align the screws. Finally, tighten the screws, make a prayer and test with the remote that it all works as intended.

I located a Youtube video for this fan but it's listed under the name on the box not the name listed on this site. It is only a promotional video not instructional. I followed the picture instructions. Super easy to put together and hook up. The remote is very simple/easy to understand. I've put up so many large or difficult ceiling fans through the years I've lost track. This has to be one of the simplest fans I've put up by myself. It comes in a small box and assembles in minutes. The fan is super quiet and stylish in color. Its a minimalist look in my opinion but perfect for small offices or kitchens. My only negative comment is that I wish the LED lights were adjustable or a bit softer. But it might just be me as I have issues with bright light sensitivity. But over all I'm pleased with this fan and would recommend it for anyone wanting an easy install and super quiet fan for smaller rooms.

I changed out my dated ceiling fan and light with this Kit and could not be happier with the sleek modern look it gives my living room. There is nothing about this fan that I do not like. It took me less than 45 minutes to install, including removing the old fan/fixture. The remote gives so much control over the speeds and being able to change the blade rotation for the season is as simple as a click on the remote. No more climbing a leader to reach the directional control. The light is bright and illuminates the entire room with clean bright lighting. The installation directions were the worst part of the kit. It is all in picture form and doesn't spell anything in text. I am a visual learner, so I figured it all out, but it may be something to consider when purchasing unless you plan to hire the installation then there wouldn't be an issue. The directions had no effect on the overall rating of 5 stars or how much I like this unit!

It's a nice fan that wasn't the most complicated to install although we didn't have it as easy as the other reviewers it seems, the instruction book took us so far then just dead stopped so we had to do some guesswork. The fan comes loaded w/ lots of options from different light settings to your blade speed and blade direction, has a timer and a pile of other things. Truly impressed and the air it moves it moves pretty good. Word to the wise though, install the remote wall holder it comes with, if you lose the remote I don't see a way for you to use or control anything on the fan at all. Materials used in the construction of this fan feel sturdy and quality to me so I feel confident we'll have it for years to come without any issues. We really do like this fan, in the short time we've had it it's just been a pleasure.

I have installed many fans and light fixtures... more than I care to remember. This fan was by far the easiest install I've done. The directions are very straight forward. The light is fairly bright and the low fan setting spins pretty fast. The size is perfect for a bedroom. One weird part I'm trying to figure out is how to avoid having to cycle through all the light tones. I'd like to keep the fan to a warm white color, but every time you turn on and off the light, it cycles through Daylight, white, and warm white. All in all, great buy.
