Quiet, Full Featured Fan with Easy Installation
Color: Nickel
Size: 52”
Fan assembly was logical with no surprises, and the instructions are decent. Fan blades can be reversed, but the finish is the same on both sides. The AC power from the is applied to the black and white wires on the fan controller module, which is controlled by the remote at a 2.4GHz RF frequency. If you presently have a separate fan and light switch to control those aspects of your current ceiling fan, you will only need to use one of those for this fan, I chose to use the fan switch. Rather than control the light on the fan from the wall switch, the color temperature, brightness, and on/off functions for the light are handled by the remote control. Best part is that you can reverse the fan direction for the summer or winter from the remote without having to reach the fan’s switch – that’s great. It's quiet, has a bright LED light, moves a lot of air with 6 speeds, looks classy, and has every adjustment imaginable from the remote control. As long as I don’t lose the remote control, this fan should provide years of useful service.

Perfect Workshop Fan
Color: Chrome
Size: 52”
This fan is perfect for our indoor workshop! It has a sleek, modern look with just the right touch of industrial style, which fits the space really well. The airflow is excellent, and the DC motor runs whisper quiet, so it doesn’t distract me while I’m working. I really like having both the remote and the app controls as it makes it easy to adjust the speed or dim the light without stopping what I’m doing. The reversible motor is a nice bonus for year-round use. Overall, it’s a stylish, functional, and efficient fan that’s exactly what I needed for our workshop.

No manual controls; not black/white/blue wire between controller and fan/light body
Color: Nickel
Size: 52”
I had a 20 yrs old Hunter fan hanging from a really tall cathedral ceiling that has a dead fan motor. I got this particular fan because it could be controlled with a remote without the use of the phone app. Right now I don't have a ladder that is tall enough to reach the ceiling box so my original plan was to leave the old controller in the ceiling box and just use the wired light switches to turn on the light and fan (separate switches) and not worry about the dimming and fan speed control for now. Every ceiling fan I have ever owned in my life has had manual controls on the light body and three wires (black, white, and blue) between the fan remote controller and fan/light body -- this is the case for the dead fan. But this fan has 6 different wires going from the controller to the fan/light body and no manual controls. And I have 5ish feet of down rod between my electrical box and the fan body -- the wires on this fan are nowhere close to long enough to reach. The good news is that the old Hunter down rods work on the body of this fan so physically hanging the fan won't be a problem. The bad news is that not only do I need to get a ladder long enough to reach the ceiling electrical box but I need to get some small wire to splice between the controller and fan/light body. Not intellectually difficult, just a pain. Overall the body of the fan/light seems sturdy and fairly easy to put together. I don't like the design of the controls enough to remove a star off the review even though I haven't been able to install it yet. The lack of manual controls on the light body means that the system is reliant completely on the remote/app, so loss of the remote significantly degrades functionality. Furthermore, his house is used by 4 different families -- controlling anything with an app is not feasible. I am seriously considering not installing this fan and opting to spend a lot more money for something less technologically "advanced." Moves a lot of air, very quiet!
Color: Nickel
Size: 52”
Very elegant looking fan. This fan also moves a lot of air at the highest setting. This is key because you will need to make sure you install on a proper ceiling fan mounting box. Although the fan is relatively light in weight, if you tried to mount this to a standard light fixture box, I could see this thing wobble and trying to fly off the mount at the highest speed. The light gets about as bright as a 60 watt bulb. I like that you can change the color of the light from a cool blue to a warm yellow as well as change the brightness. Every thing you need is included in the box. So installation is very quick and easy, especially if you have a powered screwdriver. It comes with a remote instead of pull chains. Be sure to mount the light on the wall near the wall switch, you will need it to turn on/off the light/fan, unless you want to use the app. It works best if you just leave the wall switch on and use the remote because if you turn off the wall switch and turn it back on, the light/fan will remain off until you use the remote/app to turn it back on. Overall its a great addition to the home.
