Unlike so many of these pet doors, this one can be used just about anywhere, because it can be mounted on walls, doors, glass, thin or thick. It does say for interior use only, though. The door swings well and the locking mechanism is easy to use. I used this to build a feral cat house. I wanted a door through which they could come in and out, but also protect them from the elements. This should work. Hopefully, the cats don't press the lock button. But if they do, it's okay, because I put in an escape hatch in the back.
