  • Nice Skillets no matter the size. !!
Size: 6 inch Number of Items: 1
Amazon was great taking my return back bc I misjudged the size of the skillet from the pics. So just know the size you want and let Amazon do the rest. It all will happen in good time, in just a few days give or take …..

  • High quality and inexpensive cast iron frying pan
Size: 12 inch Number of Items: 1
Finally! A real cast iron frying pan. I like that this one comes preseasoned, and getting it to a full seasoning is not that difficult. This is definitely a nice and large cast iron frying pan and truly lives up to its 12-in size, this thing is massive! To clean the cast iron frying pan is really easy, just a little bit of water and a scrub brush, you should only ever use dish soap if you absolutely have to because something made the frying pan nasty or you're trying not to carry over flavors, but even then you should fill up a sink with water and add a drop or two of dish soap to the entire sink of water if you're going to hand wash the frying pan, otherwise you will wash the seasoning right off and you will have to re-season your frying pan. I would say that this is a great value for the money as you can't get a 12-in cast iron frying pan for anywhere for less than $100 and this one comes in at less than $25. Definitely want to order the rest of the set, that way I'll have the 6,8 and 10-in frying pans available. At the moment I live in an RV and use a propane stove so cast iron is a great thing to cook with on a gas stove. Thank you for the high quality cast iron frying pan! ... show more

  • Small but still useful
Size: 8 inch Number of Items: 1
As long as you know how to take care of these, its definitely worth it. Especially for some dishes more then others. Easy to clean as long as you know how, and can handle high levels of heat. Very heavy even for it's size and made really well.

  • Very poor quality cast iron that costs nearly as Lodge (made in America)
Size: 12 inch Number of Items: 1
I have discovered cooking with cast iron when I visited the Lodge factory store in Pittsburg, TN. I was able to get a "factory 2nd" for 14 bucks that was indistinguishable from their 1st quality skillets. So I was interested in trying this pan. When I got it, it was lighter weight and thinner than the Lodge cookware. Lighter isn't necessarily a bad thing if you have a hard time lifting the pan. However, the finish was also not great... not as uniform as even my Lodge "factory 2nd". Then I read the cooking instructions which advise you to only cook over low-medium heat. One of the things I thought about cast iron was that you could basically take it from the cook top and put it directly into a 450-degree oven (which I have done with my Lodge griddle to cook steaks and it worked beautifully). However, I don't dare do that with this pan. In addition, it warns of taking a hot pan and running it under cold water or it could crack. Basically, the cuisgusto has a list of warnings of what not to do and care tips 3 pages long (not hyperbole!). With Lodge, you don't have to baby it... it doesn't come with 3 pages of warnings and maintenance... you just use it. The whole point of cast iron is that you don't have to be baby it... a decent skillet can be passed down to multiple generations. This particular skillet defeats the ease of use associated and versatility of cooking with cast iron. I could see dealing with the higher maintenance if this skillet was significantly cheaper than Lodge. But a comparable Lodge pan can be purchased for less that 30 bucks and only costs about 8 bucks more than this pan. And, not for nothing, Lodge is manufactured in the US whereas cuisgusto is made in china. If you really want to embrace cooking with cast iron, spend an extra 8 bucks and get a Lodge or comparable brand. Life is too short to having to spend a lot of time trying to maintain a type of pan that is supposed to be industructable. [LCVR] ... show more

  • Very Solid Cast Iron 12in frying pan. 5 stars.
Size: 12 inch Number of Items: 1
Overall Thoughts… This is a very solid heavy duty cast iron pan which appears to have a seasoned layer on it that would lend it to be more of a non -stick surface. Before I use it I am going to season it one more time to get a good base seasoned layer over the cooking surface. There is no lid with this pan though lids can be purchased for a 12 inch pan. I have had cast Iron cookware for years and they are very easy to use and clean. Do not put these into the dishwasher. If you hand clean them immediately after cooling down and wipe them with oil, they are simple to keep clean and in use for an eternity. This particular pan has a handle and a side grip, both can be used for pan movement and storage. You will need a pan handle glove, which slips over the handle, so as not to burn your hand. It does come with directions and a small plastic scraper which you will find works very well. These pans are safe to use in ovens and cooktops. Great to cook steaks, seafood, jambalayas and chile recipes. 5 stars. ... show more

  • Classic heavy skillet
Size: 6 inch Number of Items: 1
I ordered this 8 inch cast iron skillet to use on a cook top stove for the most part. This skillet has some weight to it, which makes it retain heat for quite a while when cooking with it. This cooks my food evenly, and was easy to oil and season the pan for some nonstick properties. Cleaning it gently with water isn't too hard, and it's stayed looking like new for a little while now. Overall, this pan would be good for home use or also when camping, so very versatile. ... show more

  • Nice pan!
Size: 8 inch Number of Items: 1
This is a cute little cast iron! It's big enough to cook a couple of eggs in, or a grilled cheese. It seems like a good value for the cost and quality.
