Before this I had a bissell little green machine and I LOVED it. I literally used it until it was beyond repair. I gave this one a try because it has a very attractive price & I was not disappointed!!!! It works just as well as the little green machine, does require just a little extra pretreat time for some stains but is compatible with other brands of cleaning solution. Great size water tank & easy to empty and clean the dirty water tank! I’m so impressed with how well this thing cleans and appreciate that’s it’s a little less bulky than the green machine. This product worked as stated. It came already assembled. Not heavy, easy to use. The spray handle was easy access. Vacuum worked great. It’s easy to fill and empty the water containers. It’s compact so easy storage. It vacuumed up spots and dirt. If the spot has been there a while you do need to use a spot cleaner. I used plain tap water and it worked great. I used it on my sofa, arm chair and rug. The only thing is this is not for large area rugs as you will need to be on the floor to treat the spot. I am so satisfied with how this product worked.

I have one regret - that I didn't find and purchase this cleaner earlier in our pet ownership life. I've had to use this cleaner several times since we moved into our new house. We specifically bought carpet that is pet stain resistant (made of silk I'm told). Only a week after the new carpet was installed, one of our kitties chucked up a fur ball and left a big mark on the new carpet. I put this cleaner to the test using a pet enzyme cleaner. I used a paper towel to pull off what was large enough to remove manually, then blotted the moisture out of the carpet so as not to drive it deeper into the fibers, sprayed a small amount of enzyme on the spot, waited a moment, then sprayed hot water from the clean water reservoire (fill with hot first, the machine does not heat the water), then sucked it up with the cleaner and voila! There's zero sign of any staining on the new carpet. I think in the past few weeks since I bought this unit, I've had to use it about 6 times. Weather is warming and we have 2 kitties with longer fur so they're in what we call shedding season. Their fur licking tends to accumulate in their little bellies and they have to expel fur balls from time to time. We mostly find evidence of fur ball expelling while they're still wet, but even if they've dried, this cleaner will easily lift the debris. Sometimes it takes a few squirts of the pet enzyme and hot water but with a few repeats, there's zero sign that there's been any protein left on the carpet fibers. The unit is durable and the seals work well against leakage. I clean the unit after every use as there's a self-cleaning feature where you replace the vacuum cap with the cleaning cap which allows you to squirt the hot water through the nozzle and hose until you feel it's been properly rinsed. Then clean all the parts manually. I think with this short routine, the total time it takes me to clean up a fur ball from the carpet and clean the machine is about 20 mins to a half hour depending on whether I'm starting with a freshly expelled fur ball or an old dry one. I think this specific cleaner would make an excellent gift for anyone with pets, so if you're looking for something useful to get someone who has everything, they may not have a cleaner like this. I would definitely buy this again.

This unit was exactly what I've been looking forward, very simple, effective and low cost. It was on special for under $50, which was my price point to move on an upholstery cleaner. It comes assembled and ready to go from the box, you only have to add water and/or any cleaning solutions you want to use. I went with using 409 carpet cleaner along with hot water from the tap. I'd have to say this was a very effective approach and the dirty water reservoir was very gross when I was done.

I purchased the Rivenara Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner to use on my couch and area rugs, and overall, I have been very satisfied with its performance. The cleaner itself works very well. It significantly improved the appearance of my couch and effectively removed stains from both upholstery and rugs. While it does not fully remove embedded pet hair from couch covers, it performs exceptionally well at lifting and eliminating stains, which was my primary goal. What truly sets this product apart is the company’s customer service. During my second use, the clear blue plastic suction component on the hose broke unexpectedly. I contacted the company via WhatsApp, and they responded promptly by sending a replacement part immediately. Since receiving the replacement, I have used the cleaner several more times—mainly for puppy-related messes—and have not experienced any further issues. I also appreciate the compact size of the unit. Living in an 850 sq ft apartment with limited storage, this cleaner is an ideal fit. It is small, easy to store, and still powerful enough to handle regular cleaning needs. The only minor downside is that the unit tends to leak slightly during use. However, the amount is minimal—comparable to the condensation from a glass of water—so it has not been a significant concern for me. Overall, I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a compact, effective upholstery and carpet cleaner, especially if customer support is an important factor in your purchasing decision.

Great alternative to professional cleaning services. Would have given a 5 star but had minor issues with equipment like under carriage leakage & suction issues. Once the dirty tank gets to full it will lesson suction & dirty water is expelled from bottom. This didn’t bother me enough to return it. I just wiped it up emptied the tank & the suction returned to normal. Just add your cleaning solution I like to use Odorban carpet cleaner & I add a little essential oil to the clean water tank before use. For the price point this was a good deal. I had an old coffee stain about 2 months old, my kid spills and some dark stains from pets tracking in dirty paws. It cleaned them all with no issues just patience. No more Stanley Steamer with their add ons & price increases. Go ahead and buy it.
