The ceramic coating would cause your food to slip and fall if it were a live animal walking on this coating on the ground.....lol. The beige color set is attractive and modern looking versus the typical black non-stick pots. It's easy to clean, the glass lids provide the perfect drainage holes for pouring out liquids while keeping your food in the pot. Love this brand. This set did not disappoint. Same quality with an attractive off-white color, with good non stick cooking. Lid is well fitted and the handle as well as the top of the lid in brown faux wood is very attractive. It looks like lacquered acacia wood.

So far these ceramic pots are nice; we have bought very expensive pots & pans to see the coating wear off or scratch in a few years (and yes we only use the correct utensils in them & never cooked over medium heat), these are inexpensive & seem very nice.

The nonstick surface works beautifully and makes cleanup quick and easy. The lids fit well, and the handles feel sturdy and comfortable.
