So I really like this set. First let me say that you will have to assemble some of the pieces. It was super easy and should have been fast. One of the pots had the screw already in and it was stripped inside. It took so long and so much strength to get it out but I made it. The pots when together nicely. They are truly none stick and they work great with cooking just about anything. You have different sizes and styles. I was able to even put it in the oven and it did fine. You have 4placement mats that come with it, so you have something to sit your hot pots on. The heat distribution is even across the entire pots as well. It was super easy to clean, it did not take much and no stains or scratches were left in the pots. ... show more

Product being reviewed: CAROTE 13pcs Kitchen Pots and Pans Set Non Stick, Taupe Nonstick Cookware Set, Frying pans, Kitchen Essentials, Frying pans with lids We've used this brand before with good success and satisfaction. While they may not be our favorite pans, we do tend to use them a lot. Reason being is the shapes of the inside of the pans can be a little different than other brands. For example, one of these pans in the set has a bottom edge inside that isn't rounded, so it makes stirring and cleaning more difficult. I know you can see from the listing pictures, but I wanted to point out this set is only 6 pans, 3 lids, and the rest of the "13pcs" are 4 pan protectors for use during storage. We've tried using these protectors in the past and they are just annoying to use. The "egg pan" is a more niche item to include in a set like this and my wife said she won't use it. Take that for what you will. Quality seems on par for what you'd expect. We didn't see any damage from shipping or the factory and everything was packed fairly well. There is a lot of plastic waste from the packaging that probably wasn't needed if you care about that type of thing. Our last pans from Carote lasted around 4-5 years, which I've read is when you should replace non-stick pans anyway due to the coating coming off. This is where our last Carote pans were at so we disposed of them when we got these. Overall, these are better than average pans, are nice to use, and at a good price. Recommended. ... show more

The set has alot of different sizes of pots and the egg cookware is nice. We have also made pancakes in it. I feel like the food cooks very evenly and the cookware isn't too heavy or too light. The main part is very easy to clean, however my only reason for 4 stars is you have to attach some of the handles and they aren't very flush so food can get in there. ... show more

I got these pots and pans and my wife fell completely in love with them. We have an induction top stove and finding pots and pans that actually work on it is difficult at best. These work great on our stove, the heat evenly and work better than any other set of pots and pans that we have tried before. The bonus is that these are really easy to clean and the stacking pads are a great touch to keep them from being scratched and damaged during storage. The color is great and everything stacks up nicely in the cabinet. I definitely recommend this kitchen set to anyone that wants a good looking and quality set of pots and pans at a reasonable price. ... show more

    • Easy to use; but there is a real challenge to clean it
Easy to use; pour spouts are a very nice feature; good non-stick finish works well with silicone spatula and kitchen tools; lightweight makes them easy to use, too. BUT: The handles have to be bolted onto the pots and pans, and once assembled most of the pieces do not have a flush fit. It is easy for food (and stray tomato sauce and other things) to get trapped between the handle and pot. Cleaning the food that gets into that space is a challenge. ... show more

Ok so there are NO directions on how to use these. The paper coming with it tells me how to pre wash, what not to do, and how to keep them clean .. however it doesn't say which I can use on the stove top and which not. I think that's the problem because when I used the pan with the round cut outs.. Not only did the eggs cook unevenly & over cook the yolk... But the bottom was dark brown and the smell... Just lousy.. So I did try the metal bottom pan to fry an egg .... The yolk cooked WAY faster than the white making for a quick trip to the trash. I just can't recommend these. Use them several times in 2 weeks. Nope. They're in the used item donation pile. Can't recommend these. ... show more
