It works for it's purpose but it could be a lot better. I have one bunny and we go thru this very quickly. It's absorbent but not as well as it could be. I have to use a good bit to keep urine from the bottom of his litter box, and I change it daily. It would be nice for it to be more absorbent so I could go to changing it every other day. Just so the product would last longer. There is no odor control in this product. So when you change it out there is still that strong ammonia smell. I think this is one of the turn offs from people having bunnies as pets so if you could add in odor control it would make a huge difference. ... show more

I like the color and smell, very woody, and it’s a very nice amount too, does what it’s supposed to do. Only complaint is it’s too tight inside the bag. Other than that it’s a good product.

Using this for my mouse tank. They absolutely love this stuff and pile it up to make burrows. I feel good knowing that it wont spinter and harm them. It also absorns the urine quite well. The smell not so well on but i cant fault them for that. Also the way it is packed in, means that it actually expands into alot. With my 10 gallon tank it lasted about a month. My biggest conscern is that this has a pretty noticable natural scent. And as is typical with wood-based products, there's a bit of dust. This is not great for pets with sensitive noses, like rats.
