  • Excellent value!
This is an excellent paddle! But..."Pbvmurtg"? I realize it's an acronym, by why did they decide to put it on this paddle and it's cover? Anyhoo, after playing with it all morning, I decided to buy a second one for a spare, as it is just too good of a paddle at too good of a price to not have two of them. Maybe my wife will use it, or I'll keep it as a spare in my truck. So what makes it a good (great!) paddle? Well, for starters, after two years of playing and going through over a dozen (some expensive!) pickleball paddles, it's the best one I've played with so far. But how can it be any good if it's so dang cheap? I bought it because I was curious about the specs the builders of the paddle put in the description for it ...thermoformed, carbon fiber layers, grip, balance, etc., and so I bought it and played with it all day at our outdoor pickle courts against all kinds of players at all kinds of levels, low to high, and the paddle just outperformed all my previous paddles. It provides a gritty surface texture that spins the ball like crazy and has a nice pop to it for hard line shots. It felt light and comfortable in my hand and very balanced through the day. There are so many high-quality paddles coming into the market now, and at such low prices that deciding which to buy can be a difficult thing. This paddle should serve you well and not break the bank. ... show more

  • Amazing paddle, even more amazing customer service!
If you are really getting into pickleball and want to transition from a beginner paddle but are worried about spending $100+ on a new one, look no further! This paddle has great control, spin, and a decent power. And the price CANNOT be beaten! During my time playing these past 2 years, I've had the opportunity to try other paddles from expensive and big-name brands like Joola, Selkirk, etc., and I can honestly say that this paddle holds up to them but costs two or three times less. Now, some may argue that this paddle comes from a lesser known company and it's trustworthiness and reliability is still yet to be decided, but do know that this paddle IS officially USAPA approved. In fact, I looked them up in the official list and was surprised to actually find this paddle there, which, if you're a heavy Amazon consumer like me, can never be too careful as you likely also understand how flooded the market is nowadays with low quality products making false or ridiculous claims! Will this paddle make your shots easier and better controlled? Yes. Will this paddle improve your spin? Yes. Will this paddle help your game? Yes. Having played competitive tennis and table tennis in the past, I can tell you that this equipment is solid. And unless you are a professional pickleball player, any SLIGHT differences or "advantages" of these paddles are usually moot or overexaggerated because, after all, most players cannot really tell the difference as their issue and what they are likely struggling with is their technique, not paddle. Overall, if you are on the fence like I was about how much you're willing to pay to play pickleball, give this paddle and company a try before diving into the $100-$200 range -- I promise you won't be disappointed! And in the unlikely case that you are, the customer service team will be there for you. While I reached out to them for an unrelated issue, they were extremely responsive within a day or two and immediately resolved my concern. And no, I am not an influencer nor was I paid, asked, or given anything to write this review. In fact, I rarely write reviews, let alone thorough reviews like this, but my experience has been nothing but great and I am hoping that this review will give others the push they need to give this paddle and company a chance! FYI, I saw photos from other reviews that had this paddle contained in a box with a grip and eraser included. Please know that their packaging has since changed so it is ONLY the paddle with cover now. Still, this remains a phenomenal deal. Save your game and wallet! ... show more

  • Great paddle but no eraser
Just got the new paddle. I really love how gritty the 3K surface feels and the beautiful side imprint on the edge guard. It looks nice and will help increase my spins. The handle feels very comfortable, and the length is perfect for two-handed strokes. This paddle will be perfect for a beginner and to an intermediate player like me or even an advanced player. Given the thermoformed unibody design, it should be study like my other paddles, so I'm satisfied with this purchase. My only complaint is that given other reviewers photos, I was under the impression it will come in a box along with a grip tape and a paddle eraser. However, it came in a bag with a grip tape but no eraser. Maybe that's what I get for buying on sale, so I don't get the eraser. Interestingly enough, getting the free eraser was a big deciding factor for me even though I'm still happy with the paddle. I recommend this purchase. ... show more

  • Great paddle! Excellent value!
As an intermediate player I wanted to get a better paddle. After much research on paddle design, I chose the PBVMURTG. I was really surprised how much better this paddle is than my entry level one. People have commented that my game has improved quite a bit. I have tried several other expensive ($100-$200) name brand paddles and find I like this paddle as good or even better! It has good power, great spin, and really control. Considering it comes with a neoprene cover, an extra handle wrap, and a paddle cleaner, this deal can't be beat. As an additional benefit, if you have any questions you can contact the mfg and they will respond right away. Bottom line: great product, great service, great pricing! I am considering buying another as a backup. ... show more

  • Highly recommended for intermediate and above players
Totally enjoyed using this. I affirm what some of the reviews said about it being a tad on the heavier side and that the sweet spot is relatively smaller, but when you hit it right, it rewards greatly. Being a tennis player, I do enjoy the weight and I have sufficient technique to enjoy the smaller sweet spot, which gives good comfort and control overall. Very well made paddle, just hope the durability matches up. Highly recommended for intermediate and above players. ... show more

  • Great economy paddle.
Very good paddle for the price. I've used it for 6 months with good results.

  • Used paddle
Looks like I received a used paddle. It came without a box, extra grip or carbon eraser and the playing surface has small marks/scratches, while the bumpers are scuffed. Looks like a nice paddle but not worth paying new price for a used paddle. Returning.
