The media could not be loaded. When I opened the outside carton and took out the box I immediately felt like I was looking at a quality product. When I took the paddle out of the box and run my fingers over it I immediately knew that I would be able to use the paddle to position ball returns because of the tactile feel of the graphite. To test this pedal I decided to do things: 1. Use it to hit balls against the wall straight up and at a 45° angle so that I could rush over and return the ball. I was able to do this because the paddle felt fairly light in my hands and was not top-heavy. 2. Use it in a controlled drilling situation where I was able to gauge the paddles ability to dink and to return a ball with power. The paddle help me to control the ball. There is a relatively big sweet spot. It adds punch when I am returning a ball from the baseline. 3. Use it in a recreational game. I like the way it performed. It is comfortable in my hand and if I want to I can use it for a two-handed backhand. I was surprised to discover that the air vent at the bottom of the paddle actually helped me. I did not have to exert as much pressure on the paddle to return a shot. Air actually does pass through this area. I'd only seen this feature with one other paddle the Selkirk Luxe, and that paddle cost about twice as much. 4. Ask someone else to use the paddle and tell me how they felt about it. They liked it too. This is a great paddle if you are an intermediate player or if you have really good depth perception and know how to find the sweet spot in the middle. It also works well if you're having trouble reaching down to scoop a ball because it's a little longer. The paddle also comes with a cover and the cover looks like leather although it is not. There are many covers for pickleball paddles but this is the first one that I have seen with a handle so that you can hold the paddle by the handle while walking. (See photo.) It also comes with a eraser to clean the paddle and some extra tape for those with big hands. The extra tape could also be used later to replace tape that is aging. On a completely whimsical note it comes with a keychain that has a paddle attached to it. At first I thought this was just a cute feature and then I realized that many pickleball paddle bags look alike. Attaching a keychain to the outside of your paddle bag may just make it easier for you to identify your bag. The company makes a version of this paddle with a green-and-black face that is designed for control. This one is supposedly designed for power. I felt the paddle gave me a lot of control. It makes me curious to try the other version. I did not have any problems with vibration from this paddle, but I did not play five or six games in a row. When I do that, if there are any issues I will update this review. Otherwise, this paddle earns five stars.

Not the best power paddle, but this generates amazing levels of spin and has a fantastic sweetspot with great consistency no matter where the ball contacts the paddle. Avoid if you have a tennis elbow problem though... Sweetspot: 9 - The sweetspot is as good as any paddles I've used from well-known brands. The consistency of power is great all around this paddle and there's minimal power-dropoff near the edges. Control: 9 This paddle is very stiff, which contributes to a number of things. You can really feel the ball, which helps you control the power. The stiffness also seems to help with the consistency of power, which plays into the sweetspot rating for me. However, this paddle seems to let all the shock go directly into your arms, which irritates my tennis elbow more than any other paddle. This level of stiffness feels like a 13mm paddle to my arm power: 7~8 It's advertised as a power paddle, but I don't get a lot of pop at the net.. It does have more power than my paddles advertised as control paddles though spin: 10 This is still brand new.. but the grit on this exceeds any paddle we've played with so far. This paddle makes those balls sing/whistle with all the spin it puts on the ball. I'm very curious to see how long it'll stay this gritty. Overall a fantastic paddle for the $150 pricepoint. It's even better w/ that coupon on it. This is extremely hard to beat if you're looking for a well-rounded paddle that has heavy spin. The extra accessories and giftable box just make this that much better of a deal. That being said, avoid this one if you have a tennis elbow problem.

First of all, it's very giftable since it's packaged so beautifully, but make sure you know the player's style and preference before you gift such a specific paddle. This one is the "power" paddle of the two Warping Point Aero Throat style offered, and it's a bit longer with a longer handle, but a good bit narrower, which makes for a smaller sweet spot farther out. The paddle flies through the air with so little resistance it's amazing, and when you strike the ball you feel the power. But you don't lose all control. First of all, it's a bit thick for a strictly power paddle, and that's fine by me since the core absorbs a bit and then releases that energy back into the ball, all the while gaining better control with that few milliseconds of pause time for the paddle to grip the ball - which it does well with the nice gritty surface. This paddle reminds me of ones I've looked at costing more than double the price. Edgeless style of design (or virtually so) and the beautiful craftsmanship - this is a totally solid, totally integrated paddle. Every strike is a solid thunk that results in a very predictable direction of travel by the ball, and very predictable behavior when spin is applied, which can be done. I think it's a great compromise - but without the compromise. You get all the power you want. But you still retain control. My highest YES RECOMMENDATION goes to this paddle. You just need to feel it a few times and you'll realize what it can do for your game. Fabulous value on exquisitely-made paddle!
