I’ve been playing ukulele (as well as guitar, bass and piano) for years and have collected eight ukuleles of all different kinds, at all different moderate price points, and sold under all different brands. I bought this Caramel ukulele after considering it for several months—not really sure if I wanted to fool with a baritone. It’s the first time I’ve played one. It arrived mid-morning today and now it’s nightfall and I’ve barely set it down. I’m just delighted. I know I know I know: This endless collecting of new instruments. And I have really liked every single one, but I have to say, this gorgeous Caramel is a banger. I think I like it even better than my tenor Kala 8-string which is also beautiful and dreamy. This Caramel baritone is very good looking with a full rich resonance and sustain. It is comfortable and natural in the hands and is very fun and easy to play. Frankly, it is so comfortable and natural in the hands that I’ve barely even noticed the size difference. I am a solid upper-intermediate player and almost all of my playing is fingerstyle. It handles this nicely and sounds crisp and full. While the strings are still settling in, it has needed minimal upkeep tuning. I think it’s a rock solid ukulele. Awesome value. Built-in tuner, guitar strap, extra strings, etc. included. Looks great and sounds great, both acoustically and plugged in. I've had it over a month now and can't find one flaw. Easy to pick up and play, instead of always going for the guitar. As a guitar player, I just wanted a cheap ukulele. This is by no means cheap, other than the price. I don't often write reviews, but i had to for this. It has far exceeded my expectations.

Looks and plays great! I wasn’t expecting much, but was shocked at the quality. Tuners hold tune excellent and pickups sound great. Nice case and setup was perfect. I would/will buy this brand again

This is a fabulous instrument. Appearance is beautiful and glossy. It seems to be larger than most baritones. It comes with an on-board tuner and pre-amp. The battery was already inserted. Tune up was easy. Each string was just one pitch lower than standard tuning when it arrived. The best part is the sound which is rich and loud even before being amplified. I do not own any uber-expensive ukuleles, but it would be hard to find one IMHO opinion better than this one.

I bought this for my husband's birthday and out of his collection of 19 (yes, 19) ukuleles it has rapidly become my favorite. The tone is deep and rich, the strings that come with are top notch, the action near perfect and the bevel arm rest and bevel cutaway make it super comfortable to hold. The gloss finish is stunning.

Beautiful instrument. The bocote wood makes such a difference in the richness of the sound, it's quite different from my previous Caramel baritone uke made from mahogany. The mirror gloss is gorgeous. The gig bag is protective, and the accessories even concluded a cable to plug into a amplifier. Very happy with the playability, right out of the box. It's weight is substantial, as bocote is a a denser wood than mahogany.

The media could not be loaded. Caramel is very careful with setups and details. I really liked the sustain and the tone. This is a high end instrument. The only criticism is the preamp is not bad but it’s not built for the stage. When you start strumming it sounds low profile to my ears but that’s a subjective opinion. But overall it’s great value.
