Great upgrade for the Tacoma
This is amazing for what you get for the cost. Android auto software is pretty nice. Lots of options. CarPlay connects ok — drops every once in a while but that seems to be even with OEM units. The harness was pretty straight forward. It didn’t work with my rear cam so I used the one they provided. This actually took the longest. It’s ok though because this one is a lot better. I had the basic non-Entune head unit in my truck. So if you’re curious if it will work with that, it will! Great quality, fit and finish overall. I recommend. ... show more

Good system
Super easy install! Works well, occasional issues with connecting to iPhone as it is an android base system but does have CarPlay.

Good price, iffy quality
Started off great but continuing to have connection issues. Randomly disconnect while driving and then won’t connect back

Nope, don't buy
Nope, this is absolute garbage. Took a minute to get everything plugged in, so e of thr plugs didn't fit as they should of. Got ot powered up, the UI was not what was advertised, clunky and hard to get to any menus. I never was able to get radio to work. Sim stock song was under that option and couldn't get out. I couldn't get the sound to work. I'm fairly knowledgeable about plug and play wires. The connections can't be messed up. But everything about the felt wrong. I feel like I got the temu version of this listing. Like I said garbage, and that where I'm going to put it. Wish I spent the additional $$ for the better brand. 0 stars if I could ... show more

Radio with some hiccups.
An inexpensive stereo upgrade to my 2016 Tacoma is what I was searching for. This is what I went for. Hoping for the inexpensive, but not cheap experience. This is a great looking unit. Does what it should. Wireless Car Play for me. Boots fast. The switch to the reverse camera is a little laggy, but that is what all these units do. If you are having issues with the reverse camera they include an RCA connector to a 6 pin you will have to use. I will say I wish it came with better instructions on how to modify and customize the screen. Currently, I have a Charger on the screen when I'd rather have my truck on there. I know there is a way to change things and I will have to search that answer out myself unfortunately. This thing really is a plug and play addition. With that, I wish these newer stereos would be able to hook into the original car microphone. That would make things look that much better. AND BE that much better. EDIT: I have had this radio in the truck for 7 days. 7. I have both loved and loathed it. The good: I love the bigger screen. I love the OEM backup camera integration. I love the Car Play (when it works). I like that it stays on for a few seconds once the engine has stopped. The Bad: Car Play will disconnect and not reconnect. (I bought this for the wireless Car Play) For short stops in the store, Car Play will mostly not connect on start up. The radio isn't easily customizable. I want truck icons, not tesla and charger ones. There is a lag from shifting into reverse to the rear camera display coming on. There is no AM station band. (people still listen to that band as well) For these reasons I had to remove and return the radio. I also deducted stars. If you want a solid radio with a big screen and rear camera and you don't care about wireless phone attachment like Car Play then this could be your bag. It just isn't mine. ... show more

Great radio and even greater price.

This is a great upgrade for my 2017 Toyota Tacoma SR5. I was really unsure because of the price, after having it for almost a week it's really nice. The sound quality it gives the crappy factory speakers is really amazing. It hooks up really fast to my phone. I installed it myself and it was a breeze. 3-18-2026 update, radio is still awesome. I love the upgrade this brought to my baby. With the speakers upgraded it sounds even better and is way louder. Would buy again for sure ... show more

Genuinely impressed
Review Image by Priscilla Greenlee
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I don’t usually write reviews, but this one was a must. My husband installed this in his 2017 Toyota Tacoma (SR5) , and didn’t need to go out and buy any adapters, wiring harness, or even an installation kit! Everything he needed was in the box! Instructions were clear and easy to follow, back up camera works perfectly, and Bluetooth with his iPhone is great, and display is truly impressive. This really was a steal of a deal. Very grateful we found it. ... show more
