I think this is a great thing for everyone to have! You can have a car insurance company that offers to come out and give your car a jump if it dies. But the wait for something like that can be literal days! I speak from experience. The jumper for the car battery is the main reason I got this to give it a go. I'm disabled and my daughter is now my driver. Now before she became my driver, while she was in high school, her car started having issues where the battery was just draining. No stereo in her car, yet. So she could get use to the sounds that the car and other traffic makes before drowning it out with artificial noises. It turned out that one of the wires was shorted out and draining the battery by 'running on battery power" until there was none left. I had called the insurance company when she got stranded at the High School. I called the insurance company and they said 'no problem! We'll get one of our trucks out there tomorrow evening." Now in their defense it was during a fairly harsh winter, so everyone was calling in needing trucks to come out for one thing or another. This is a powerful little car battery jumper! I'll still rely on my insurance company, but it is a peace of mind knowing that this is in my daughters car. This has more features to it than just the car jumper! This has emergency flashers!! It can be used to quick charge for USB devices! It has a digital air compressor to inflate tires!! just to scratch the surface!! If you have a car and a teen/young adult, or even for your own use! I Highly suggest getting this jump starter to keep in your car set. It's a great tool to keep around for a quick jump start especially if you are miles from other people! ... show more

    • Really Handy for a new driver
My oldest son started driving and before he was allowed to go out on his own I had to teach him a few things. 1. How to change a tire. 2. How to check your oil. 3. How to Jump-Start your car in case of a dead battery. 3 essesntial skills for anyone behind the wheel of a vehicle. So he had a pack of jumper-cables in the trunk of his car, but they are old, a little worn and could probably stand replacing (they were from my pre-license lesson in the 90's). So I picked up this Jump starter and it was super simple to explain how it works and we replaced the old cables with this pack. The small compressor is super helpful if a tire needs some air, or a basketball needs to be pumped up. Way better than busting out the large compressor. The flashlight is weak... but thats not why I bought this ALTHOUGH, the strobe/SOS feature is nice! I put an additional flashlight in the case this came in just in case. Truth - I haven't used the Jump-Start functon yet, haven't needed to, but I have used all of the other features and they have been great. When/if I do use, I will come back and update my review. ... show more

At $80 this is a fair price. There are others that are a little cheaper and many that are higher priced. This one does come with a lot of extra features when your considering it. It is small and compact. It comes with a nice zippered hard shell case that everything fits in. It does double duty as an air compressor and a jump starter so you get 2 tools that could save the day in one. Just be aware it takes a while to air up a large tire and you are limited on cranking power. This is for an emergency and not what a mechanic is going to bring when your broke down. Most people will carrry this and hopefully never have to use. Another feature is this can be used a backup USB charging source so it could be used for camping, hunting trips when you dont have A/C to charge your phone. I think it is a great item to have for a smaller vehicle as it has enough power to air up a tire to get to a service center or a jump start when you left your lights on. This is a nice little jump-pack/air pump kit. The package claims it can produce 4000A but I need help finding information on the size of the battery in the box (Amazon says 74 Watt hours). The package includes a set of woven gloves, a small microfiber towel, light-duty jumper cables, an air hose, small attachments for pumping up balls and toys, and a USB A to USB C cable for charging. There is a zippered storage box to hold all of this. In addition to jumping a car and an air pump, the battery does have USB A out ports so you could use it to recharge devices. It also has a small light so you can see what you are doing. The pump has a variety of settings for different applications (car, motorcycle, bicycle, and ball). It does all of these things adequately, but a dedicated device could do each one of them better. It is a good all-around tool for emergencies, not for everyday use. ... show more

    • Nice case, Nice design, Nice item!
This item came in a very rugged (fabric type covering but solid underneath) case. It will ride nicely and securely in your vehicle. I want to keep this in my wife's car so that we both have peace of mind when she's out and about by herself. Just knowing that she can air up a tire, jump her battery, charge her cell, etc will be a great thing. The item feels "heavy" in the sense it's well made, not in the sense its too bulky or HEAVY. It comes with come "cut resistant" gloves I guess to protect you from a blown tire or rim cutting you? Either way, that's something nice to have in a roadside emergency as well. All in all, a well thought out and comfortably sized item that will stow nicely and be handy when needed. The flashlight will be helpful in these instances as well.
