This is a pretty nice battery charger. The only thing it's lacking, is the ability to charge LiFePO4 batteries. This charger even has a repair mode (which I couldn't test, because I don't have any bad batteries). It seems to be decent quality, and I'm happy with the battery clamps (another charger I have, uses really cheap clamps). But the one feature that I really like, and this is what pushed me over the edge to give this 5 stars, is the fact that if you connect this charger to a battery, without plugging it into the wall, it will read out the battery voltage. That's a really nice feature. I feel the display could be better, but I'll forgive that at this price point for the features it has. A quick note about amps. The amp hour rating on a battery means little, when it comes to chargers. The amp rating on a charger is what it *can* put out, not what it will put out. A charger will only put out the current a battery needs, up to the maximum of the charger. So if your battery can accept 10 amps, but your charger can only supply 6 amps, it will just take a little longer to charge, compared to a 10 amp charger. But a 15 amp charger will only deliver 5 amps, if that is the max the battery can accept. So if you need to charge your big batteries faster, then you may want a bigger (more amps) charger, but I if you have small batteries, then a bigger charger won't help. So, keep that in mind while you're shopping for chargers. If you need a small charger, or if you don't care that it takes longer to charge larger batteries, then you can stop looking and get this charger, because I can recommend this one as a good value.

The media could not be loaded. Used to charge the battery in my truck that sits for weeks without being driven. Put it in Car mode with the press of a button. It was pretty dead and in just about 4 hours it was fully charged. I wish the cables on it were a little longer. I plugged it into an extension cord and left it under the hood (but not on the battery per the instructions). If the cables were longer I could have left it inside the cab of the truck. When I came back it was buzzing as it has a fan that cools it off. Battery was full! I like that you don’t need to plug it in to an outlet to check the battery. Hook it up to the battery and the readout will tell you how full it is. No need to unroll the extension cord if you don’t need to! The construction is a little cheaper than I expected, felt more like a toy than a tool, but it got the job done.

We have an SUV that stays in the garage a lot, and we never seem to find time to take it out for a spin. The result has been a dead battery several times. This Hoimzx Automotive car battery charger will be great for maintaining battery health during these extended periods. The ABS Flame-retardant shell with multiple safety protections is a great feature and makes us feel a lot safer since it also has a built-in cooling fan in case it is used for long periods of time. The LED readout is perfect as it shows the status and progress. This is a great little charger, but I wish it came with some sort of case for easy storage and protection.

I got this to use on my wife's infinity because she doesn't drive it much and it continually drains the battery. I put it on her battery and with in 4 hours, it did a battery refresh, and charged it to full capacity. Checked it about 4 hours later and it was in the off position, came back a couple hours later and it was doing a trickle charge. WOW! It has a reverse polarity function so you can't connect it wrong. not sure how you would if you look at the terminals as red is positive and black is ground. It charges from 4AH to 120AH (up to 6 amps). Great piece of equipment. Glad for the purchase. Very happy! I will procure another for the shop to use on lawn mower.

This is a great little charger to just keep around. its compact, it will charge many types of batteries, and repair batteries aswell, i currently am using this to trickle and maintain my battery back up bank of AGM batteries. it does a fine job and has a fan inside to keep it cool, so it runs barely warm, was able to charge my two 8ah batteries in about an hour each with full capacity achieved through my battery tester, its lightweight and super compact making it easy to keep around.

The battery on my motorcycle was completely dead, hooked this up and followed the simple directions for selecting battery type. Charged it up with no issues and the bike fired right up. It’s small enough to keep in your vehicle in case you ever need it. It does not come with a case so I’d suggest getting something smaller to keep it in or you could store it as is in the glove box without an issue. I’d definitely recommend it.

I am using this to keep a trolling motor battery charged. It’s small enough to keep in the boat when not in use, and I just run an extension cord out there when I get home from a day in the lake. The fan runs quietly and I can see the progress as it charges.

I store my truck and a few motorcycles and this is a very nice tender. Really like the rolling display that show's volts and amps. Easy to set up and scroll through the menu for car of ATV or motorcyle. Display shows a nice complete when done and is very easy to read. Hookup is easy, just select what kind of battery and let it do it's job. Have used on 3 battery's and worked well on all. Nice product.
