After setting this smoker up and using it, the overall size and quality really impressed me. The vertical smoking chamber is tall and roomy, with several strong racks that allow a lot of meat to be smoked at once without feeling crowded. I mainly use it for smoking, and the offset firebox on the left keeps the wood and heat separate from the meat on the right, which makes temperature control much easier and helps prevent sudden flare ups that could burn the meat. The steel feels thick and durable, and the finish looks clean and well done, with smooth edges, solid hinges, and careful welding that gives it a very well made feel. The racks are removable, which is great for larger or irregular shaped cuts since nothing feels restricted. I also like the built in temperature gauge on the front, which is easy to read at a glance and helps keep an eye on heat levels without opening the door too often. Wheels on the base make it easy to move around the patio or yard, and the doors close securely. This is exactly the smoker style I have always wanted, and using it feels confident and enjoyable every time.

Good smoker. I e had mine for a fre years now. It does great with low and slow cooking. It does need seals around the door openings to keep more of the smoke in for even heat throughout. You lose heat/smoke towards the chimney side. I also wish it came in a bigger barrel size for more cooking capacity.

This is a very versatile smoker. It can be used as an offset smoker, a grill, or a vertical smoker. It does take a few minutes to put together but is very sturdy once it is up. For our inaugural smoke, we made a some New York strip steaks with a good sear on the grill. Overall we're happy with it and would recommend it if you want to upgrade your smoker. For the price, it is and excellent choice and made very tasty steaks.

This is a pretty expensive item, and one plagued with issues. Here mu experience so you can decide whether you want to put yourself through the same: First, it is an incredibly heavy item, so if/when you decide to return it, it is an ordeal: good luck trying to repackage it all in the same box, and trying to carry it. Second, you need to assemble it, and it is NOT easy. I have a shop and have access to some unique tools, and even then, I found myself scrambling with it for 56 hrs. My unit is missing a piece. I tried calling the customer service number provided, but it is no longer active. Have sent an email, but not keeping my hopes up for a response. One of the main pieces cam with a big scratch. This is supposedly powder coated, but given the above, I will try to buy some heavy duty spray paint and try to cover the scratch myself. Seriously, don't buy. You will regret it; and your several hundred dollars paid will feel like a total lost.

I absolutely love this smoker! The vertical chamber has so many tiered shelves, which gives you plenty of space to smoke different foods at the same time. It is perfect for preparing a variety of dishes, especially when hosting a party. The build quality is impressive. The material is thick, the entire unit is heavy, and it feels extremely durable. On top of that, the subtle smokey flavor from the charcoal infuses the food beautifully, making every dish incredibly tasty. It is sturdy, spacious, and overall very well made. Highly recommend!

I think this is going to become my favorite smoker grill yet. I’ve used—and continue to use—various types of grills (charcoal, gas, wood pellets, etc.), but none have allowed me to handle such a wide variety of BBQ tasks all at once like this one does. Assembly wasn't difficult, and it’s very easy to use. Just be sure not to overload the trays with too much food, so that the heat can circulate properly. I highly recommend it!

Very easy to put together and simple to use. Make sure you get wood chips there are several favors.I love that is also has a thermometer so you can look on the door and see what the internal temp is.lts material is very sturdy and feels substantial!
