When it comes to grilling, i can never make up my mind on what type of grill I should settle on: charcoal or gas. Now instead of buying 2 different types of grills, I only need this one as it has both features. When i want full smoky flavor, i tend to opt for the charcoal grill. If i'm in a hurry and need it done quickly, gas is my go-to method. The charcoal side has a neat cranking mechanism reminiscent of Brazilian grills where you can set the height of your food to the coals. This feature is actually ingenious and helps aid variances in cooking temperature selection. Luckily, i assembled this right on time for football season to entertain friends while we watched football all day. For this, I opted to use the gas grill and fired up some rib-eye steaks. It left perfect grill marks from the cast iron. Food was evenly cooked and fast as I like mine medium-rare. My friends complimented me on the grill as they've never seen a combo set like this before. Build time wasn't bad at all, it took me about 2 hours to get everything together. It's sturdy and not too big despite the set of functions it has. Side burner wasn't used yet, but it's handy to have if I ever need to heat up a pot of chili on the side. This was a great addition to my backyard and makes great bbq. Only thing i wish was different is that it would be better if both grill sides are the same size. The charcoal side is slightly smaller than the gas side but despite this, it's still a worthwhile purchase in my opinion.

The packaging was very sturdy, and all parts arrived intact. Assembly was a bit complicated, but not difficult for us; it took us about an hour and a half to complete, and we felt a great sense of accomplishment. This barbecue grill is very beautiful, and you can tell it's of excellent quality just by looking at it. The grilling area is large, allowing for both charcoal and gas grilling simultaneously, catering to different tastes within the family. I highly recommend this barbecue grill! It heats evenly, is easy to clean, and is perfect for outdoor gatherings. It's sturdy, durable, and easy to operate; my family loves it.

The box came damaged in multiple areas. I was afraid the grill would be damaged. I had read several reviews about damaged grills arriving. It came without any dents or scratches. It took over 2 hours for my husband and I to put it together. Instructions are very vague. We used it later that night without any issues.
