Prints very well, is quite fast, setup is only moderately difficult. Does a better than expected job on photos. Be warned, it is quite heavy to lift and it will need a sturdy stand.

I bought this printer as an upgrade for a customer that was using an inkjet printer. Here are a couple of the pros and cons. Pros: Shipping was very fast Easy install on windows 10 and 11 Printer setup was plug and play Toner tray easily accessible Print and scan quality, far surpassed the hp inkjet 4,000+ printed pages per toner cartridge Toner cartridge replacements are cheap on Amazon. Cons: Make sure you buy a usb-be to usb adapter if you want to hook it up via USB. This unit does NOT come with one WiFi setup is not user friendly The printer admin console is all online. To access these settings the printer must have access to the internet. By default the printer has 2 copy trays, this could be confusing to customers as to what tray to use when making post cards, or other single hand fed document copies. All in all this printer is a solid laser printer. I'd feel comfortable selling this unit to customers for both personal and business applications. Highly recommend this printer if you're in the market for a new affordable color laser printer! ... show more

    • Great Printer, Not Compatible With Netgear Mesh and Apple Air Print

The printer itself is tremendous. Everything I wanted in a color laser printer. Prints beautifully. The problem is that it does not work with a WiFi Mesh system--I have Netgear Orbi--and Apple Air Print while the printer is in sleep mode. It prints great while not in sleep mode, but once in sleep mode Air Print flat out does not work. You can change the timer to keep it from sleeping for 60 minutes, but after that it will not function on Apple's Air Print. Research after the fact has demonstrated to me that it's a known problem. The only solution is to purchase a software program, Printopia. I'm going to try it and will update this review afterwards. 10/8/25–No success with Printopia. None of my devices, including the Mac Air next to the printer—will wake the printer. I have diagnosed and am certain my devices are broadcasting a wake up signal, the printer is just stone deaf. It needs to be manually awakened. For printing from devices in other parts of my house I’ve connected it to a smart plug and turn it on/off via HomeKit—which works. THIS IS A KNOWN/DOCUMENTED PROBLEM. Research very, very carefully before buying. Your set up may not work and there is no cure. Buyer Beware. ... show more

    • Set up is so easy!

Set up was fast and easy! What to expect: I followed the instructions in the booklet. The machine made a lot of loud noise for a while after I pushed the power button. I was concerned about that because it seemed excessive, but it didn't end up being a problem. When I got to the point where I needed to set up my computer, I went to the website that was listed in the booklet, since I (and most human beings) do not have a CD drive. I typed this into the search bar on the website: MF652Cw drivers and software. I clicked on the first option at the top of the list, which had a date of two months ago that was listed under MF652Cw. I downloaded and then clicked on the download and went through the process of installation that it guided me through. It worked great. When I went to print my first doc from my computer, I also had to change "print to pdf" to the printer MF652Cw in the print options. The print quality is good. I noticed that the color is not as sharp or as deep as the printers I've been using at UPS. But, it's good. Black and White is excellent. I'll continue to fiddle with the settings to see if I can increase the quality of my color prints. Using the device has been easy. So far, I am happy! ... show more
