I just moved into a new apartment and have minimal items for the kitchen to work with. I liked this kit because it contains a great set of everyday items at a reasonable price. I have not been disappointed, and am very pleased with both the look and the quality of the set. The can opener works smoothly and easily. The peelers work well, though they are just average compared to some other peelers I've had in the past. I REALLY like the scissors - they are nice, sharp, and cut extremely well. The bottle opener also feels solid and well-made. It's an attractive set overall and feel good in the hand. The handles are not too big or too small, allowing for great control, particularly on the peelers. I love the black finish on the handles, and since they are stainless steel, they should be dishwasher safe (it says so on the product page), though if I find that they do not hold up well in the dishwasher I will update the review. Overall, this set is a great value for money and perfect for someone like myself who is starting out in a new home and needs the basics. I am very happy with all of the items in this set, and for me it's five stars. đ

I picked up this can opener set from the XIHULGJIN Store, and it turned out to be one of those âwhy didnât I buy this soonerâ bundles. Everything in the kit feels thoughtfully designed, especially for seniors or anyone who deals with hand weakness, arthritis, or just wants tools that donât fight back. The heavy-duty kitchen scissors are the star of the set. They cut through packaging, herbs, and even small bones without feeling flimsy. The grip is wide and comfortable, which makes a big difference for older hands. Built in nutcracker is a nice bonus. The can opener has a smooth, easy-turn crank that doesnât require a wrestling match. It grips the can securely and glides around the rim without slipping. No sharp edges left behind, either â a big plus for safety. The bottle opener is simple but sturdy, and it gives you good leverage. No more banging the cap on the counter like we did in our twenties. The two peelers surprised me. Theyâre lightweight, *very* sharp, and comfortable to hold, even for longer prep sessions. I prefer one style and my husband prefers the other style â maybe thatâs why there are two in the kit! They rinse clean without fuss. One minor annoyance is that the title refers to a bottle â there is no bottle opener but there is a can opener. Minor complaint but take not if you are considering purchasing. I am very happy with this can opener set. It comes with everything you need for opening cans, bottles, jars, peeling fruit, or cutting. You get 5 tools in total. The tools feel very well made. They are strong and durable, function well and open things easily, and have non-slip grips/handles so they do not hurt your hands when you use them. These are high quality tools for a very fair price. The black color scheme also goes perfect with my kitchen. I would highly recommend these to others.

This is a pretty "value" set of kitchen tools. They run on the cheap feeling side, but they do work. The peelers have a thin handle which makes them kind of uncomfortable to hold, but they are crazy sharp and actually peel carrots and potatoes just fine. If I was using them constantly, I could wish for a more comfortable handle, but these get by. The can opener has a crack on one of the handle attachment points, which was a little sharp - but these also work just fine. The star of the show though is the kitchen shears which are fantastic. They don't seem to match the aesthetic (more rubbery than plasticky) of the other tools, but are decently comfortable. They're also very sharp and, in the first couple days cut apart a whole chicken with ease and then dismantled several cardboard boxes, which makes me need to have a discussion with my girlfriend about what we agree to use these for. These are cheap, but they work.

We have a rusty manual can opener and needed a knew one. Also, our kitchen scissors are old- so this set was perfect for us to get! The other pieces are two peelers and a bottle opener. The peelers are nice because we didn't even have those. We really are liking this set! The can opener and kitchen scissors have durable,, slip resistant handles. We have trouble with sore hands so that is so helpful. Feels like a sturdy, lasting, useful set!

I got this set for the turn-knob can opener, I've struggled to find a reliable, easy to use can opener for years, most don't seem to grip onto the cans as well as can openers of old. The turn knob can opener in this set works great, and the culinary scissors are a multi-functional marvel, with sharp blades and multiple cutting edges. The bottle opener is fine too, it works well. The vegetable peeler seems a little flimsy, the metal head bends at the end of the plastic handle when high pressure is applied, and I don't think I'll use the cheese slicer at all so I can't really judge it. Worth getting for the culinary scissors and turn knob can opener.
