  • Great shadow without bugs
Color: Blue & 10' Size: 10'x10'
We set this up in the backyard for a weekend lunch, it ended up being the spot everyone stayed in. The size fits a table and a few chairs comfortably without feeling cramped. Setup was easier than I expected. Two of us got it done in about 10 minutes using the stakes and ropes, and it felt stable even with a bit of wind. The mesh sides really help. You still get airflow, but bugs stay out, which makes eating outside way more enjoyable. We also used it by the lake, and it made a big difference once mosquitoes came out. Easy to pack up after too. ... show more

  • Good Value Screen Tent that Works Well Good Value Screen Tent that Works Well
Color: Beige & 10' Size: 10'x10'
I am a truck camper (I camp out of a fiberglass shell that covers the bed of my pickup) and recently purchased a 10’ x 10’ Campros screen tent to protect me from flies, mosquitos, and other insects while at various camping locations. I just returned from a 10-day camping trip to West Texas during which I used the screen tent daily. I was thoroughly impressed with the weight, quality, and performance of the tent. This tent is reasonable priced; lightweight (less than 20 pounds); takes up minimal space when packed in the carrying bag (approx. 2 feet long and 8 inches square); is fairly simple and quick to assemble (took 2 people less than 10 minutes); big enough to cover a standard size picnic table with a little room to spare; had zippers on both sides of the tent that worked well and provided easy access; is decent quality for the price; and best of all - it worked incredibly well at keeping flies and mosquitos out! During our recent trip, there were huge swarms of black flies in our camping area that constantly tried to bite and get into food and drinks - they were a huge nuisance. The Campros screen tent was incredibly effective at keeping the flies outside the tent and off of us and our food/drinks. We were thoroughly impressed and the envy of the campground! Many campers came by to check out the screen tent, asked where we got it, said they wished they had one too, and said they were going to get one for their next trip. On another note, the tent was delivered faster than promised and in perfect condition. I am completely satisfied with the purchase of this screen tent and highly recommend. The attached pics are of 1) the assembled screen tent over our picnic table and 2) how effective the tent is at keeping flies outside the screen. UPDATE: I am still truck camping (as of March 2025) and still use the same Campros screen tent purchased back in Oct 2021. Although I carry the tent along on every trip, I have only used this tent approx 14 days per year as I only set it up when I need protection from flying insects. The tent has held up well and still looks and performs almost like it did when it was new. Very happy with the purchase. I have attached a recent photo I took of the tent while camping Goose Island State Park in Rockport TX in November 2024. ... show more

  • Solo mom setup took 15 minutes after learning the process Solo mom setup took 15 minutes after learning the process
Color: Blue & 10' Size: 10'x10'
I bought this screen house specifically for backyard family dinners on buggy evenings and for hosting outdoor parties. As a mom I often end up setting up things like this by myself because my kids are still too young to help much and my husband is working, so ease of setup was important to me. I knew before purchasing that the instructions recommend multiple people for setup so I did plan ahead and watched a video online before attempting it myself. Glad I did because the instructions sewn into the carrying case do a poor job explaining the assembly process in my opinion. I assembled it by laying out the shelter, threading the poles through the sleeves, tying the top fabric string to the poles, bending the poles into position, connecting them to the corner stake attachments (it looks like a eye hook), and then clipping the screen house to the poles before staking everything down through the fabric hole. I worked clockwise around the shelter and only had to make a minor adjustment to the first corner because I was doing the setup alone. Even with the confusing instructions, the entire process took me about 15 minutes. Now that I understand how it goes together, I think future setups will probably take me less than 10 minutes. The actual screen house itself has impressed me. The materials feel good, the mesh arrived without any rips or tears, and everything fit together as expected. I previously used an older screen house owned by a friend and I prefer this one. I’ve only used it for a short time so I can’t speak to long-term durability yet but based on the construction and our intended use I don’t currently have concerns. If that changes after a season of use, I’ll update my review. Pros: Can be assembled by one person Fast setup once you learn the process Good size for backyard gatherings No rips or defects out of the box Mesh and materials seem well made Convenient carrying case Cons: Instructions are difficult to follow Watching a setup video beforehand was very helpful ... show more

  • Good value screen house
While searching for a good sized screen house that could be placed over a picnic table but still offer a little sun and light rain protection, a lot of options came up short. Many had very little canopy cover or nothing to block sun or wind coming from the sides. The screen houses that did were usually the hex/gazebo style tents that are much more expensive, very heavy, and pack up HUGE. This screen house was a nice goldilocks of being affordable, relatively compact when packed away, had decent coverage for sun and light rain, and had an adjustable/removable side panel for privacy or for when the sun is lower in the sky or wind protection. If you've set up a typical camping tent before, this tent will be a breeze to set up. It took me and my husband about 10 minutes to set it up for the first time, not including staking or setting up guylines. I really like how the instructions are easy to follow and sewed into the bag. The color coding of the roof poles and corresponding tunnels made setting up a breeze too. The build quality seems good for this price range. The bags for the poles and stakes look especially robust which is nice because those are usually the first to have a hole. The main bag is a bit flimsy, but it's really just for storage and does offer plenty of room to repack. Our only complaint is that the flaps around the bottom of the tent could be a bit longer or maybe offer a stake loop or two between the poles to keep the tent a little more critter proof. But that's a pretty minor flaw and we'll probably find a few rocks around camp to drop on the flaps to keep at least flying critters from coming in where the walls meet the ground. I hadn't heard of CAMPROS before, but after sending in our info to register for the warranty, a real person followed up to confirm and offer to answer any questions. ... show more

  • Very pleased with this product.
Color: Blue Option Side Wall & 10' Size: 10'x10'
I used this camping and was very pleased with it. The quality is great, it’s waterproof and easy to put up. The side flap was a plus. My only regret was not ordering the one with all removable sides. This was a great addition to our camping trip.

  • This thing is awesome! This thing is awesome!
Color: Blue Option Side Wall & 10' Size: 10'x10'
I just set it up. The first and wonderful thing I notice is the- just a little oversized bag- that it comes in. You know how with tents It’s always hard to get them back into their bag right because you can never fold it up small enough to fit perfectly like it did when you first bought it? Well, with this screen tent thing they took that into account and made the bag a bigger size so you don’t have to struggle fitting it in- I really appreciate this! Little ‘ol me was able to set this up myself in about 10 minutes and it was pretty easy. It has two zippered access sides and one optional privacy wall that you can put on any side inside the tent. I feel like it is worth what I paid (depending on how it holds up). I am really looking forward to using it camping :) ***Okay, after actually using this camping for the first time, it was awesome! The only thing I noticed was that the stiff plastic bottom is a bit brittle and already started to crack! And the spikes to hold it down are super flimsy. *** ps- CUSTOMER SERVICE with this company is questionable. I contacted them about an issue and never received a response. I advise that when you use this screen tent with a hanging fly trap inside, remember to remove it before taking it down…. Oops my bad, what a mess, lesson learned! Lol ... show more

  • Campros Screen House was better than none while camping.
Color: Blue & 13' Size: 13'x13'
I bought this Campros Screen House Room 13x13 ft to use while camping to help cut down on mosquito bites and be able to eat meals without bees bothering us. I liked the size since it's big enough to set up over a picnic table and still have a few feet of room all around it but that's the only good thing about it. The mesh is a good tight size but we still got mosquitos and a bee inside. The netting is not very strong as we accidently put a couple holes in it when zipping up the zipper entrance. There are two vertical zippered entrances on each side. You have to place stakes in the ground through the screen house loops along the bottom. A stake is placed on both sides of the entrance zippers. When you open the zipper to get in it only stretches about a foot wide making it very hard to bring anything inside after it's set up. You have to enter sideways or risk pulling up the stakes or ripping the zipper. The zippers are thin and cheap. There are flaps of fabric at the bottom of every panel about 4 inches long. They are too short and stiff so they won't lie down flat to reach the ground so there's openings here and there along the ground. We loosened and adjusted the stakes but that didn't help. It's very lightweight. A gust of wind pulled up a couple stakes and almost blew it over. I probably should have returned this screen house room because it was expensive and not worth the money, but the 30 days were up by the time we used it. ... show more

  • mixed feelings mixed feelings
I was able to set it up in about 15 minutes by myself the first time out of the box without reading the instructions. With that said, here are the details. The good: - construction is as expected. it's ok. Similar to most tents. - the size is ok but the claimed size is misleading. See cons... - pretty good headroom in the middle but you have to duck to get in. I'm 6' tall and can barely reach the hook in the center. The apex of the fully open zipper is 62". - packs up rather compactly. - I like the added sun/wind shade which is the main reason I picked this model. Very easy to install. The cons: - It takes a while to set up. I'm assuming it will take as long or longer to take down but it's Not unexpected. - The fringe along the bottom is pretty short. If the poles aren't buried slightly, I believe it could provide a path for bugs. See pic. I may send it back because of this. - slanted sides reduce the usable area. The actual width of the top flat side to flat side is only 9 feet: or a little short of 11 feet corner to corner. Huge difference from 13 feet advertised. But you can see that from the pictures and wasn't a surprise. Bottom line: The shelter is about what I expected, except for the short fringe along the bottom. Not sure I will keep it because of this. ***Suggest adding water inflatable bladders along the bottom fringe to hold/weight it down...Patent pending.... ... show more
