Over the years I have noticed that a lot of parks don’t have bathrooms. If they do they aren’t where you have your activities at. A lot of play grounds don’t either. Try telling you little boy “you just have to hold it” and you have been in such situations. Such units are great for multiple types of issues. Changing on the beach or park is one too. I can remember using the back seat of the car as a changing room. Very uncomfortable for sure. With this unit it’s not an issue any more. I gave this unit to my son and his family.     • A tight fit, but it does the trick.
We used this tent with a camping toilet on a recent road trip, in which we did not wish to enter any buildings or public facilities during high spread of coronavirus. It provided the privacy we needed for pit stops at rest areas. This tent was as advertised. In bright sunshine, there was plenty of light inside the tent, but from the outside, you could not see outlines or shadows. Set up takes maybe 1 minute at most, breakdown 2 minutes. It is lightweight, and unless you are planning to stake it down properly, you should plan on having a partner standing by to hold the tent in case a breeze picks it up. again, that worked fine for our purposes. My husband and I are not tall people (5'7'' and 5'4''), but the space was tight, even for us. You do have to bend low to get into the tent, then straighten up quickly before you knock over the whole thing. It worked well for our child. If you are over 5'7'', I would recommend looking into the larger version of this tent. ... show more

    • Awesome concept, pain in the behind to fold
I’m a photographer snd use this fir my clients at photo sessions to be able to change outfits and I kid you not, there has been a time or two when I folded it down to half way and carried it to the car basically half open because I was struggling so hard to get it to fold and then drive home w it fully extended in my car and spent a solid 30 minutes watching YouTube tutorials and attempting to fold it but it kept feeling like I was doing it wrong bc it doesn’t feel like it wants to go the way that is technically right…. Don’t get me wrong, it’s great and I will keep using it snd do recommend it but goodness y’all…. Maybe practice a few times before putting it to use bc I definitely looked like an idiot trying to fold that thing in the middle of a photo session… ... show more

    • No Flooring, Weak Ropes, One Time Use Only
I purchased the GigaTent Pop Up Pod with the hope it would be a quick and easy solution for some outdoor privacy during camping trips. While it technically gets the job done, I found several issues that make it a short-term solution rather than something I’d rely on long-term. First, there’s no flooring, which might not be a dealbreaker for some, but it limits its use as a shower tent or in areas with wet or muddy ground. The ropes that come with it are very weak—they broke during the first strong wind, which was really frustrating. I ended up needing to find replacement ropes just to keep it standing. For first-time use, it serves its purpose—quick setup and decent privacy. However, I don’t see this lasting beyond a couple of uses. I’ll be replacing it with something sturdier, as I wouldn’t trust it in any real outdoor conditions beyond a calm day. Overall, it’s okay if you need something fast and temporary, but don’t expect it to last or perform in tougher conditions. ... show more

This was a such a huge help! My daughter in dance was in a room where she was having to change outfits with no privacy at all! I had this shipped one day and it arrives on time and neatly packaged. It also came with detailed instructions on how to assemble and disassemble. We were short on space so I popped it open and closed it up as soon as she was through. It could be a little taller but she had plenty of room to stand and change and move around in and keep her modesty! it helped my sanity and hers on a couple of stressful nights. One less thing to worry about is always a plus!!! It also comes with a zippered carrying bag so it's easy to carry! I had several of the other dance Moms ask about it. It does come with stakes if you were to use it outside. I haven't planned on using it for outside but if I do I'll update my review to include the use of the stakes. They felt pretty sturdy in their little bag but I didn't even open it. Overall I had no problems with any part of the tent and I wish I had bought this a long time ago. ... show more
