I think this item has great potential. We managed to get it put up but it was already a piece that was broken. It was big enough to sit two people and my daughter comfortably underneath. Worth the money if it wasn’t already damaged. It was very light weight and the material was great and waterproof. I loved the little windows on the side that you can put up and down for privacy. I love this tent! Setup is incredibly quick. It really does pop up in under a minute, and packing it back down is simple once you get the hang of it. It’s lightweight enough to carry with one hand, but still feels sturdy with the sandbags and stakes in place. The color (blue in my case) is bright and vibrant but doesn’t fade quickly under sun exposure. The zippers feel solid and move smoothly without catching, which gives me confidence they’ll last through repeated use. Inside, it’s roomy for 2 adults plus kids or gear, and the windows make it feel airy and cool. The UV protection and extra shade flap are great for long days at the beach. I also like that it folds into a compact bag that fits easily in the trunk. For the price, this tent delivers excellent value. Just got this today. I set it up in the backyard. I found the instructions on the inside of the carry bag AFTER I had it up. Very intuitive and quick setup. It's roomy inside, I'd say 3 adults, or two adults and a couple kids. The fabric is on par with most tents and the poles are sturdy. There are two inside mesh pockets and a hanging hook in the center. The two side windows are mesh with flaps that secure inside. This isn't a good shelter for rain heavier than a drizzle. The extra flooring in front folds up to create privacy. The tent stake loops on the front flooring double as loops to go over the top front poles for added security. There are also 2" strips of hook & loop along the seams in the front. They don't feel strong, so I'm happy to be able to put the loops over the poles. Putting it away was a bit harder than setting up. The fabric is light weight and doesn't like being rolled back into the storage state. I managed both setup and teardown alone. Setup 3 minutes, teardown 7 minutes. I must say, this thing is LIGHT! I've carried camp chairs that are heavier than this. I'm taking it to the beach next month and will update how it handles wind and sand. **UPDATE** I've had this to the beach on two trips, to a large community picnic, and three camping trips. It has held up remarkably well considering it has been a play area for toddlers, a dog shelter, a changing room, a nice place to nap, a generator shelter, and a wood shed. I keep this in the back of my truck, and it has also been a nice bit of shade when hanging out with friends. Love this super convenient tent. I don't know what kind of hobbit people they're claiming as 4, but this tent fits a max 1 low camp chair and small child on the floor. If you put the chair on the side by the windows, your head constantly hits the side. I'm only 5'2", my head shouldn't be hitting anything. If you put the low chair near the front on an angle you can fit a child, but your one leg will get burnt to hell. That being said it went up and down easily after watching a YouTube video. It is also very lightweight and easy to carry. I bought it for $65 and I wouldn't recommend. The fact that you have to pull the strings hard to pop it up leads me to believe it won't last more than a few uses because the rope is definitely getting frayed in doing so. If you can get his for around $30 it might be worth it. ... show more
