Upon first glance, this camera system looks well built. When you install the cameras, the first impression is confirmed. The connection to the router was super easy with the provided cable. The cameras mount easily, especially with the included templates for screw placement. I had an easy time connecting the cameras to the app. Tip: do not use the QR code in the instruction manual to find the app. Use the updated code provided on the paper insert in the box. I purchased an SD card so that I could record my videos on the SD card. I LOVE that I don’t have to pay a monthly service fee to view my own videos. I am able to view live images on the cameras while I’m away from home. The rotating camera is very helpful for flexibility in viewing angles. On another system that I have, I am unable to rotate the camera so there were many times events were out of the screenshot. This will solve that problem. I can use the other camera to see who is at the front door. This is NOT a continuously recording camera. It only records “events” such as motion. I use the camera mainly for home security but feel like it would be great as a “trail cam” too. I like that I can rotate the angle of the camera around towards the garage door to see if I accidentally left it open when I drove away. Because the cameras are completely wireless, I am able to mount the cameras in places that don’t have access to power. This gives me more control over the placement of the cameras. The communication range between the cameras and the base is about 35’ in my location. I have the base placed close to a front window at my house. The cameras need to be placed so that the signal to the base is not lost around the corner of the house. I’ve taken extra time to write this review because I wanted to see how long the batteries would last. So far, I have not had to charge them and the cameras are busy recording many times a day due to high traffic in my neighborhood and the position of the cameras. Each camera does have to be removed from its mounting to be charged (unless you can reach an outlet with the charging cord). The intercom works well. I can hear nicely and speak through the cameras. I startled some kids that were not supposed to be riding bikes on my dangerous driveway when I talked to them through the camera. They were respectful and left. I like the 1-year warranty. It convinced me to try the cameras. Overall, I really like the versatility of the wireless cameras, the night vision, and the rotating camera head.

You would think that these WIRELESS security cameras would not need to have a gateway that was hard wired directly to a network router. You would think they would have the ability to join a wireless wifi network. But no.......you need either DSL cable internet, or fiberoptic. You cannot use 4g or 5g LTE wireless cellular internet without a designated network router with an outgoing ethernet cable connection. So, as of right now. I have no idea if these cameras are any good or not.
