I ordered this bed for my elderly mother. It came earlier than expected which is always great! It arrived in 2 boxes, one contained the mattress and the other the bed base. We unpacked the mattress first so that it could unfurl completely and fill out. The delivered boxes on the front porch were heavy but bringing them indoors was the hardest part of the set up. Putting the base together was nothing more than screwing the legs onto the frame and plugging up a few wires. The instruction sheet was very clear. The bed has worked out great for our needs. Ours is queen size. There are many features that will not be used much in our situation. There’s a charging port on one side and afoot and head massage feature. An under carriage light is a great subtle night light. The mattress is comfortably firm. The bed is easy to make. There are extensions for the legs if a different height is desired. We are satisfied with the cost, the quality and the service. I’m not offering a photo because my mother is asleep in it 24/7😂 ... show more

This is the 2nd adjustable bed I have bought in the last year. The first was a queen size as a bundle with my nectar mattress. I cannot remember the price of it, but it was greater than $1k. When I unboxed it, solid plank materials were particle boards and corners were cracked, it wasn’t handled well during shipping either. I decided to buy a new king mattress for my house, and knew I wanted another adjustable frame. The nectar quote was $1300-1400. I didn’t want to pay that for a repeat experience, so I looked on Amazon for option and saw this one. I keyed in on the description of the materials. Solid wood/sturdy wood. I can verify it is that (at least the corners did break with any load was placed on it). It was shipped on a pallet, delivered with hand trucks to my garage. Box was well taken care of. It’s heavy (king size, single piece). Need help to move. Easy to install: screw in 6 legs to desired height, connect one power cord, install remote batteries and enjoy a very quiet motor and massage feature (may not be a timer feature - haven’t read all the instructions) Extremely great value. ... show more

We bought a Nectar Bed In A Box and decided later we wanted an adjustable base. After shopping closely I chose the Irvine Home Collection adjustable base. We couldn't be more pleased. First, be prepared for the weight. 192 pounds. Very strong, very sturdy. We had to get the neighbors help to get it to the bedroom. But then it assembles very quickly. We love all the positions, the massage, the light under the bed. I have vertigo so need to be elevated when I sleep. And never could watch TV comfortably, now we can with the TV position. We researched several adjustable bed frames, and this one by far met all the needs we were requiring. The frame is very sturdy and solid, was easy to assemble, and comes with some great features such as USB ports on both sides to charge your devices and under-the-bed lighting that is not too bright, but bright enough to see if you get up in the middle of the night. The wireless remote is aesthetically pleasing, simple, and illuminates on the first press of a button and then responds to the second press, so you can easily use it in the dark without accidentally hitting a button. The remote is streamlined and fits into its own pocket on the side of the bed frame. The Zero G and anti-snoring modes/positions are our favorites, and the dual massage mode is subtle enough to lull you to sleep. The quietness of the frame is an added bonus when movement is activated by the remote. A big improvement over our previous adjustable. Having had foot surgery and needing to have it elevated almost 24 a day, I was so excited that my new adjustable bed arrived early and was able to be set up was a blessing!! The bed is so quiet when raising the head and or foot. I love being able to plug in my phone or laptop right into the bed! The massage feature feels wonderful on my shoulders, back, and legs.
