Got this bed rail for my mom. She recently had surgery and needs some help getting out of bed. This rail was easy and fast to assemble. I didn't permanently fix it to the bed - I just slipped it between the mattress and box spring. It's very sturdy and hasn't budged. There's a nice grip on it so you're not grabbing onto a metal bar. The light is a great idea (though I haven't actually attached mine yet). This rail isn't just for people who've had surgery or elderly people - it's for anyone who could use a hand getting up. Great value too.

This assistive rail is very sturdy. It was easy to assemble and has height adjustments for thicker/thinner mattress's. The motion activated light has 3 on modes: always on, night motion, & all time motion. The light is rechargeable and uses standard USB-C. It is held in place with two magnets so you can easily take it off to recharge. Overall this is a great product. The only thing I think could change is the cable length. A little longer would be nice but that’s just me being picky.

This rail is very helpful for anyone needing stability getting out of bed. It also helps to keep the patient from falling out of bed. The directions tell you to attach it to the frame but I have found it works very well just pushing the supporting bars under the mattress. It’s much easier to change the bed by removing it and replacing it when the bed is made.
