I am smaller than what the waist and thigh buckle use but I just seam ripped it and adjusted it and it holds even without sewing. I use this as my nighttime walking around as a woman back to keep my taser, knife, first aid, and decoy wallet. I’ve ran with it on and it’s held up well, and it’s gotten wet without ruining it. I have another bag I use however this one for me is very comfortable, it exceeded my expectations. Nice and roomy even has a pocket to fit my AirPod pros 2 in. Highly recommend it. UPDATE: After only 2 days the smallest pocket had a hole in it the one where my AirPods would fit, I almost lost my AirPods today on March 8, 2025. The strap for the thigh is a little big, so I still have a decent gap around my thigh. But everything else fits perfect! My coworkers think it’s super cool, and my manager said I was prepared “like Batman”. I can even fit my phone inside the top zipper pocket and I don’t even feel it. My granddaughter has a Sailor Moon vibe (look it up) to her style so she wanted this to pair with a short pleated skort. The last one wore out and this won over others as replacement. It really looks cute on her and functions well as her purse. She doesn’t use the leg tie. As a first responder with chinos it would probably work too with all the roomy compartments and tabs. Right our of the package the lower buckle was broken (see picture 1). I didn't send for a replacement or return though because even if it hadn't been broken, the thigh strap at even its tighest setting was too loose for my little Tom Cruise sized frame (5 ft 8 in tall, wear medium everything). To address the fit I replaced the buckle with a similar style off an older bag of mine, and while doing so shortened the strap on the non-adjustable side by folding it in half then sewing it down (photo 2). After customizations I'm happy with its space, size, and for the low price I honestly wasn't surprised or thrown off the buckle broke before I even got it. Easily fits my phone, extra battery, reusable grocery bag, flashlight, folding phone keyboard, folding phone stand, card wallet in the flap, and the waist strap is strong enough to easily clip another thing or two onto the other side of the hip, because I'm the sort of person who likes to walk around looking like I'm wearing a utility belt. Speaking of the straps they aren't stretchy like some other waist bags, which at first may make it seem like it doesn't fit as well, but this style because it's stiffer holds the fit better because it doesn't get loose nearly as quickly from daily wear. If you're comfortable with a bit of sewing or customization it can be a great base to work with, especially given the price. It can push into the hip a little when seated, but that may vary depending on the angle or height you wear it at, just wanted to mention that happens here more than other thigh bags since instead of hanging down from secondary straps there's a semi-thick cloth back from top to bottom on it. Overall happy with the purchase, docked a couple of stars only since if I hadn't been willing to repair it from the start (and conveniently happened to have nearly matching extra buckles handy) I'd have returned it. ... show more
