    • Not accurate and not consistent in its inaccuracy.
I am an archery hunter and purchased this rangefinder for this activity exclusively. Unlike a lot of archery hunters, I shoot a very heavy arrow (500 gains) and a low poundage bow (48 pounds). For my setup, accurate distance is critical and this is where this rangefinder falls short. I shoot at a range that has accurately measured distances to targets set at 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 and 80 yards. This rangefinder is always off by one to five yards and the real issue is that it is inconsistent in its inaccuracy. This means that when I range the 50 yard target butt, the rangefinder indicates it is somewhere between 45 yards and 55 yards. Most faster archery setups would have little variation in arrow drop with that difference in yardage, but with my draw length, my arrow is only flying 201 fps a yard from the bow. The rangefinder has been donated to a kid in my neighborhood who shoots target archery only. I care too much about my quarry to wound an animal and this is why I would strongly advise against an archery hunter buying this rangefinder. ... show more

    • Extremely clear and crisp !!
I had an older Lecia cranefinder that I absolutely love but it was big and bulky. I would have bought another one but a $600 rangefinder in two young kids is not a very smart decision. So I figured I'd try this one, I'm glad I did It's very clear and crisp, it's compact and light it picks up targets very quickly. I tried the cheaper vortex impact model because the warranty they provide is much better. But for the money this one blows that one away! I've honestly never cared for Bushnell at all but I have zero complaints with this thing and I'm happy with my purchase. ... show more

If you just want to know how far away something is (inside of 1K) you won't go wrong here. Easy to use and fairly clear glass.
