I've filed a few claims in the past within the last three years. This is the third time that I've filed a claim, and this was the roughest experience. You guys made it very, very hard for me. The wear and tear on my filter was obvious. The product was made out of plastic and it was clear, yet it took almost a month and a half to resolve this. At least for this experience, for that specific product, the water filter was a headache. I sent a ton of pictures: 1. That water filter had no serial number, but I sent everything that I could provide. 2. I sent pictures left and right, but it just wasn't that smooth. So for this time, I'm going to give you guys one star for this specific claim. It was rough this time. I was about to give up on the claim and just not file it, and never again buy insurance on any product. But I figured to push through. Luckily, I was able to get everything done. I shipped the package back, which was a headache, but I did it and it worked out at the end. It was such a rough process.

I purchased the Asurion protection plan at the same time that I purchased an infrared patio heater in December 2024. In January of 2026, one the electrical connections for one of the heating elements began arching when turning the unit on. Luckily, I remembered that I had purchased the protection plan. I submitted the claim, disassembled the heater and pritned off the label for return shipping to Asurion. Within two or three hours after dropping off the heater at UPS, Asurion refunded the full cost of the heater in the form of an Amazon E-gift card. The Asurion protection plan is well worth it.
