I bought this twin-size bunkie board to improve support under an older mattress, and the difference was noticeable immediately. The mattress feels more even and stable, with less sinking in the middle. It’s a simple upgrade, but it made the bed much more comfortable.The low-profile design is great because it adds support without making the bed sit too high. This Premium Bunkie Board in twin size is a must-have if you have slats or a platform bed. Support is incredible. My 2-year-old mattress was starting to dip between the slats, and this high-density board made it firm and flat again. No more waking up with back pain. The 1.5" low profile keeps my daybed from feeling too tall. Quality is legit. Cover feels durable and moisture-resistant, which is perfect since my kid’s bed gets occasional spills. Non-slip surface on both sides means nothing shifts around, even when they jump on the bed. Fit was spot on at 38"x75". Dropped right onto the frame with zero trimming or adjusting. Doesn’t creak or make noise when you move. For $50 it’s a no-brainer. 5 stars - turned my sagging mattress into a solid, supportive sleep setup. Wish I’d bought it when I got the bed frame!

So this is a bunkie board and it's typically make to use in place of a box spring on platform or bunk style beds. Also the one I ordered is a twin size. It's well made but I feel it would not last long with an excessive amount of weight placed on it. Im using it as an affordable option for stability on a king bed. I put it in-between the mattress and 2 xl twin box springs. My husband has back problems and this provides more of a firm side for him while not effecting my softer side. Since this is a twin I put part of it over my box springs the add stability there and the rest placed under his side of the mattress. He said his sleep has been much better. This way also will extend the life of our mattress. We did not use the provided straps due to how we're using it. It's worth the money and the benefits it provides is priceless.

I thought I was going to need to buy a new mattress. Turns out, all I really needed was this "Bunkie Board" to make my old mattress supportive again. I love that it's lightweight (easy peasy to put in place under my mattress), and I love that it doesn't seem to shift around much. (I do have a nonskid pad to help keep it in place.) Even though it's very thin and lightweight, it's much sturdier than the scraps of cardboard I was using in a valiant effort to keep my inexpensive memory foam mattress from oozing through the gaps in the frame. While it's definitely a good product, it does seem a bit expensive for what you get (a thin piece of polypropylene). I probably wouldn't pay full price for it, had I not gotten it for "free" as an Amazon Vine reviewer.

This Bunkie Board makes a difference. I got this for my granddaughter to make her mattress a little more firm, and this did the job. This board is made very sturdy and has some weight to it. Placing it between the mattress and the box spring creates a more solid bottom for the mattress, which in turn, makes the mattress feel firmer. If you’re looking for more firmness in your mattress but don’t want to buy a new mattress, give this a try. It’s definitely worth the price.
