The initial sticky feeling was off-putting, however, it fades pretty quickly the more you squish it - so stick with it! For me, the tactile quality of being able to feel the water beads move around is what makes this so satisfying. Here comes the BUT.... One of the three balls had a big air bubble in it. You cannot feel the water beads, they just slip, slurp and squelch around in a more noisy and distracting fashion. Some might find it visually interesting as the air bubble creates a window that you can see the water beads through, but it defeats my purpose of having a fidget to help me stay focused (on something else I need to do). Disappointed I won't be able to use all three for their intended purpose.

They’re filled with some liquid and mostly air. You can’t even feel the gel beads which is the main sensory part of it… if you’re looking for a sensory toy, don’t bother with this one.

Out of the box, these seemed like a blast and a fun surprise for the kids on our recent road travels. Unfortunately, the fun didn’t last long. The first one popped within ten minutes and the second of the third popped an hour after the first. Thankfully they are not full of liquid. Only water beads. Just disappointing😞
