  • Love the idea, but has a few shortcomings
I keep seeing these types of brush cleaners on social media and have been dying to get one. I love the idea of it and the convenience is super nice especially if you have kids. It's great not having to change a cup of water constantly if we are painting or using water colors. My daughter thought it was great fun pushing the button and getting fresh water. There are a few things I didn't love with this particular device. First of is the little holes to hold brushes. First of all they aren't deep enough to hold the brushes well unless you have very short brushes. Second, the brushes are then in the way for when you are cleaning brushes while in use. I wish the holes were deeper and in another location. There are little shallow pools as well. I haven't found those useful either. I thought about putting paint in them but if I needed to refill the water that could make a mess. Another issue is the cap on the water tank. It is not threaded to twist off, instead it pops on and I assume is supposed to pop back off however, it does not. I've resolved myself that it's just never coming off again and just refill through the tiny hole it has now. Last issue is just a warning, make sure your table is flat. We were trying to use this outside on the driveway with a slight slant and it doesn't work quite right when not flat. Either water doesn't come out enough, or it doesn't stop. Works fine as long as the surface is flat. So overall, I like it but it could be better. ... show more

  • The lid does not come off the jar
Style: Contemporary
This is a really neat gravity fed brush rinser. It works really well and my kids really like it. I don’t think it makes sense that there are spots for paints next to it, because you kind of have to wash the whole thing when you get done with a painting session, but whatever. My main complaint is that the lid on the jar, once it’s on, does not come off. So you’ve got to fill it through a tiny hole the size of a straw, which is fine, but if one of the kids gets paint inside or heaven forbid dirt or anything else, It’s almost impossible to clean. So I just keep it away from my kids when they’re not doing watercolors… ... show more

  • A good concept but with some flaws!!
Style: Contemporary
At first, this appears to be a good device to help you cleaning artist brushes. However, it has some flaws. The water container is too small which forces you to add water too frequently. In addition, it has a tendency to leak. Another negative is the size of it. Too small which renders cleaning larger brushes virtually impossible. ... show more

  • Clean brush
Style: Contemporary
Cleans my paint brushes with ease while painting small things. This would be great for small projects and children. Easy to change the water and hold brushes while working.

  • I really wanted to love this
This product was very eh. I've seen it all over that one app and my kids love painting so I thought this would be perfect. I waited a bit to review so we could try them out. We tried watercolors...not to bad, tempera paint...didn't work super well and took multiple flushes to clean brush, and lastly we tried acrylic paint. Would not recommend it took forever to clean the brushes and after using three colors had to refill the jar and dump out the bottom since ypu have to flip the whole thing over or water goes everywhere. Again. Yhe concept was near but it's basically only watercolor friendly. ... show more

  • Not as good as I thought it would be.
Style: Contemporary
I wanted to like this. It seemed awesome and my kids like to paint and my daughter complained about the nasty water all the time. We tried it out with watercolors, twmpera paint and acrylic paint. It was super watercolor friendly. The tempera paint took several flushes to clean the brush and the acrylic took forever. After three colors we had to empty the tank and refill the water it just wasn't worth it for the thicker paints. I'd recommend it though if you do a lot of watercolors. ... show more

  • Very cool tool
Style: Contemporary
The media could not be loaded. I ordered this for my 5 year old who likes to paint. He always has trouble rinsing his brushes in between colors and often ends up knocking over the cup of water used to clean them. I was intrigued by this product and excited to see how it works. I've attached a short video to show you how to dump the dirty paint water in between color rinsing. It's as easy as pressing a button and it flushes then refills, similar to a toilet. It's pretty great but with some flaws. 1) The lid for the water tank is difficult to put on & take off. 2) The water tank is simply placed on the white tray and not secured in any way. It's flimsy and knocks over easily. I wish it screwed on or something similar. 1 star taken off for design flaws. Otherwise, it's such a cool idea and fun to use. ... show more
