This bed took 2 people 1.5 hours to assemble. It’s great quality and I’m confident it will hold up nicely. We purchased a trifold mattress and it was a big hit! I love that it has the storage drawer so that I can keep the blankets and sheet to use for it inside. Overall very nice piece of furniture. It’s not overwhelming and the functionality of it works perfectly for the space we put it in.

Pros: Overall, we are happy with the bed, it’s not difficult to assemble, although it took us 3 goes and overall about 6 hours to put all pieces together. Good price and fast delivery. Reasonable quality - it’s compressed wood with vinyl wooden effect. Cons: some defects, the bottom drawer doesn’t shut, and some pieces don’t line up - as shown on pictures. The platform is slippery and the mattress doesn’t stay on very well, we have to buy some anti-slippery mats to put underneath the mattress. It does look bulkier than we anticipated. Glad to got the full-size not the queen size.

This took a while to assemble, but the instructions were clear, and we love it! It is exactly like their photos. And we purchased a 3 fold mattress that fits perfectly and is fairly comfortable (could be firmer). We really like this piece! It looks cool. Saves space. And has a drawer when folded up to hold the blankets and linens. Very cleaver!

The media could not be loaded. We picked this bed to compliment the remodel of a small bedroom. We like the fact that the bed folds away when not in use. This is a multi-purpose room so the cabinet bed is a win-win. I bought a 4 inch tri-fold mattress, because I wasn't sure if a 6 inch would fit. My recommendation: buy a 6 inch!! But the 4 inch is fine if you are sleeping kids on this bed. I think adults need a bit more cushion for shoulders and hips. (Hubs is 6'2", for size ref.) Love the look!! It's is a great piece of furniture. It feels very sturdy and was fairly easy for my husband to put together.

Be prepared—setup is not for the faint of heart! There are many pieces, and while the instructions are clear and detailed, you’ll need two people and a few hours to put everything together. It’s farmhouse-style finish blends beautifully with different décor styles, adding warmth and charm to any space. It’s compact when folded up, making it ideal for smaller rooms. a time investment, but once assembled, it’s sturdy and well-built.

I always try to see the good side of things but this really frustrated me, If there would be a zero star option, thats what I would give. I ordered this murphy bed for my grandchildren to sleep when they visit me but unfortunately that did not happen. The bed arrived in a million pieces and not only were the holes misaligned there were several damaged pieces of wood. The wood was not real, it was pieces glued together. I should have saved up and purchased the solid wood option, I guess I have to save up and get a better one.

Overall, it is okay. Materials are not the best, but what can you expect for the price? It should work fine for the intended purpose, as long it is not abused. Assembly, for a few tasks, requires two people. But not a difficult assembly process. Instructions are good. It should work great for when we have family or friends visiting. After they are gone, the room turns back into our exercise room.
