I received both boxes at the same time. It was very heavy and a had to waltz the boxes in the the room. The first thing I did was to open the boxes and check for damages. No damage. The packing was excellent. Then I carefully removed each peace, checked for damage. All good. I then made sure all the pieces where counted. So many screws! Ok. I read the enclosed manual. One thing I didn't like at first was lack of word instructions, so I applied my puzzle making skills to putting the bed together. It takes a lot of patience and an eye for details. Also a second person is very helpful. The wood is heavy and it's good to have a helper to avoid inju, plus it goes faster. Carefully follow the instruction manual, and not getting ahead without checking each step is super important. It took about 6 hours to assemble, working couple of hours over three days. It was easy and fun putting this bed together. It's very sturdy and beautiful. The mattress fit perfect. Now I have guest room for visitors. Got the full size, perfect for the small room. The bed and mattress is very comfortable. I highly recommend this product.

Absolutely fabulous. I’m almost 50 years old and was able to put together by myself. I had some help when installing the drawers as noted in instructions only because it did make it easier. Instructions were great but one of the screw labels was mislabeled and was short on a couple of wooden dows. It looks fabulous and is so easy to fold and function as described. The storage drawer holds all of the bedding needed except pillows. Absolutely recommend just be sure to buy a good tri-fold mattress separately that also easily fits into the space.

Very nice bed. It came in 2 separate (large) boxes that were very well packaged/insulated. You will likely need to unbox and stage the pieces in a separate room unless your final bed location has plenty of space. All the required pieces/hardware were well labeled and instructions were easy to follow. I am a +50 year old female and I put this bed together by myself in about 8 hrs from unboxing to final assembly. It looks great and feels sturdy. The bed opens and closes smoothly. I paired it with a 6in tri-fold mattress. I love the fact that I still have my workout room and a functional guest room.

Good Murphy bed with some pros and cons. When its all set up, it looks very nice both opened and closed. Set-up isn't the easiest. We ended up with one broken part that we had to buy a replacement for - the set up took a pretty long time and was extended across a couple weekends waiting for the one piece (one of the drawer sliders). We purchased a 4" trifold mattress to use with this bed and found that arrangement to be incredibly uncomfortable (unless you like sleeping on what feels like a hard concrete floor). The solution - we then purchased a 4" memory foam/gel mattress topper to put on top of the 4" mattress. Still firm, but much more comfortable. Not sure how it will all fit folded up - the mattress topper may move to our bed when not in use. Overall good product at a great price point.

Wow!! Where do I start? It comes in two boxes. Each box has an inventory list.. each item has a number or letter. Really easy to follow (I have never seen this from something made in China). The boxes are very very heavy and so are the larger boards. The product seems to be very well made and solid. Directions are easy to follow, I took my time and double checked everything. It took about 5 hours. The directions have you put things together in order so that you are not having to flip things over too much for the next step. The backing is actually thick and they even provide wedges so that it will not pop out should it be pushed on too much by the mattress. Another thing I have not witnessed before. The rails work great and slide together perfectly, again I took extra special care here attaching them. I ordered a 6” trifold mattress to go inside and there is plenty of room for it. It looks beautiful in my room. I am incredibly impressed with this item and would order again should I ever need one. Thank you.

Man where do I start?! Toooooo much work! EVERY SINGLE screw had to be screwed in. Quality is poor. I’m 130lbs and I feel like I’m going to break the bed. The only thing nice about it was the design other than that I would not recommend this bed. And to return the process is not easy.

My family and friends love this bed when they visit. It was easy for two people to put together, looks great in our room. I did opt for a 4 inch foldable mattress, but only my grandkids were comfortable sleeping on that. So I bought a 6inch mattress for when adults are visiting. Works like a charm. It is space saving when closed and looks amazing in the room that also doubles as my workroom.

Well the reviews were correct after 4 hours I assembled it! I am a 30 year old women and I did it myself it was pretty easy, yes the holes were a little misaligned but that wasn’t a problem! I bought this bed for my parents and I absolutely love it the quality and comfort is amazing goes great with the 6 in foldable mattress! I highly recommend not to mention they send extra spare parts just I case some were missing! It feels very sturdy as well and easy to put out by yourself!
