I have begun painting pictures that I send to a company and they turn into a paint by number. While they sell paintbrushes to get you started, I realized that I needed different sizes. I have ordered different sets on Amazon. This set has lasted a long time and they wash up well. The bristles don't shed and they soak up and use the paint well.

I like the quality of these brushes. They paint smoothly and are easy to wash. Even when dry paint was left on them, they look like new after rising them with water and a bit of soap. Just note, the smaller and finer brushes are not small enough for details. I still found them to be big. For paint by number sets, I would recommend getting even finer brushes.

These are sold as "hobby" brushes, but they're so good that I also use them for my watercolor painting. Mine have never lost ANY bristles, and they retain their shape (taper) nicely after cleaning with soap and water. (I've never tried solvents.) I just wish that Bosobo would offer other collections," especially one that included only the larger, squared-off brushes, which are what I use most often! HIGHLY recommended.
