This is a good selection of brushes. I paint mainly 8x11 canvas. The case is packable & easy to carry along. The brush fibers are good, and stay together without fraying. I like the wood handles. BUT the brush heads and handles are put together with a substance that does not hold up to use. I put them back together with a better glue and they are still my go-to brushes. ... show more

I am using these brushes for watercolor now. So far, they are doing great. I maybe had a hair or two fall out but did pretty well. I even scrubbed with the flat brush and it did great. These are inexpensive and great for the money. This case does not flip backwards into a stand. So if you need that then buy the case only for about the same price as this case with brushes. I plan to buy their other two sets of hog bristle and nylon for oils and acrylics. These are short handle brushes that come with the case. The media could not be loaded. It's no wow brushes, but for the price I think they are fine. Very soft bristles and light weight handle. I like the case.
