If you are looking for some basic paint brushes to work on crafts with, these will probably do nicely. Some of the bristles were a little uneven when I first got them, but after trimming them, they have worked out very nicely. They are well made and sturdy and there is a nice variety of styles and sizes. I would say these would be great for a beginning to intermediate crafter/painter. They work well for detailing and for covering slightly larger areas.

These paint brushes are pretty nice. I use this for a little bit of detailing on my model kits. For the bigger brushes I actually use it to dust off parts when cleaning them. The bristles are quite strong and hold it's shape pretty well even after use and wash. They are pretty easy to wash. The handles are very easy to grip but I am not a fan of the glossy look. It actually chips off after a few wash but the brushes still work fine. They fit easily in my storage case whenever I may need them. I usually like to have these for dusting the inside of my computer a bit especially the fans. It comes with several different brush tips so you can be sure to get different paint strokes and even after washing them they hold pretty well. Overall these are a good set of brushes. The only thing I find a bit annoying is that the brush handle paint is not the best but at least it grips well.

I am an acrylic artist and I go through brushes pretty fast because of how rough I am with my brushes and also acrylic paint dries fast and unless you are careful to clean your brushes thoroughly, they will harden over time - in my experience, it's just the nature of acrylic painting. For that reason I refuse to buy the expensive brushes. I would rather buy these inexpensive brushes that last quite a bit and then just replace them all when I feel the need because how greatly priced they are. These brushes are actually good brushes that do everything that I ask of them. I have produced some very fine landscape paintings with them that are hanging in many homes. There are a few extra brushes that I have to buy individually because they aren't in this package but that's okay. This package contains all the essential brushes to get started and make some great artwork. **also note:** If you are a new acrylic painter I recommend this pack of brushes and also for you to buy the (Princeton Artist Brush Oval Mop 1" Width) which is found on Amazon, it's a blue handle brush. This brush is great for blending. It is essential when acrylic painting in my experience. Also a larger flash brush is pretty important. The ones included are great for most paintings but for large washes you should get at least one large flat brush. Have fun!

I know I do things a little different than most guys. If I am going to do a large portrait commission, most often I will do a quick draft first to use as my draft for the final painting. When I do so, I use a student-quality oil paint and I use student quality brushes. I find this set of brushes is find for that purpose. If I forget to clean one of the brushes after I have used it, and the oil hardens, I can just toss it in the trash because the prices will allow me to do so without feeling a twinge of guilt. They are also quite nice looking in my studio along with several different grades of brushes here and there. They are definitely a bargain, yet they are capable of handling life in an active studio.

I used them several times and one brush head already fell off, and a few other brushes in the package the heads start to loose also.

I used these brushes for tacky clear glue and acrylic white flat paint. After using I rinsed the brushes I used in warm water immediately after using and wiped gently with paper towel. They air dried and I put them away. My littlest grandchild loves to craft with me at almost 5 years old and these will also be great for her to use when she comes over and does art projects.
