Am I 100% happy with this printer. No, I am not. It works great and for the price range it prints well. I wanted a printer that the ability to be used wirelessly so that I could tap into it from my phone and a computer in another room. This printer can do that. What I was unhappy with was that you CAN NOT use this printer as a corded printer. I had never bought a wireless able printer before that you could not also use with a card. That was a big letdown. The setup to network at my house had to be done manually before I could even get started. So, from what I can tell, and I may be wrong. You have to some kind of network to use this printer. Now, once you get it setup. as I said for the price of this printer you can't complain about the speed it prints or the quality that it prints. I still gave it the 5 stars as I am assuming I did not understand the newer meaning of Wireless printer compared to 5 years ago. ... show more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I returned an Epson ecotank et-2800 printer, for which I paid over $200 dollars, as I had all kind of issues with it. An Amazon support person recommended this brother printer to me. I was a little leery since the price was over $100 dollars cheaper, but since I had the thirty-day return ability, I thought I would give it a try. So far, although I only have it a couple of days, I couldn't be more satisfied: simple installation, prints and scans flawlessly and surprisingly fast, even out does my old HP $500 printer using cardstock. I also like the Brother utilities that are installable on my Windows 11 computer. I don't print from my IPhone so not sure about that feature. ... show more

Good quality printer, convenient and fairly easy to set up (took me about 15 minutes to connect it to WiFi, pair it with my phone, calibrate it and start printing). I didn't use it as a fax yet, so I cannot comment on that. On the down side, the cartridges are extremely small. This is clearly a very low volume printer, household use. I printed less than 100 pages of charts, at economic quality, which means pale, fast, low usage colors, and I had to change the yellow twice and the magenta once. If you want to print high quality pictures, you probably won't be able to print more than 10 on one set of cartridges. In conclusion, if you plan to use it one in a blue moon for a few pages, it's perfect. If you have projects or photographs to print, look for a printer with bigger cartridges. ... show more
