DO NOT BUY BROTHER!!! I purchased a brother mfc-3750cdw 2 years ago. The printer works just fine. All of the sudden I get a message to update my firmware. Once I do it no longer recognizes my printer cartridges. It turns out their new software update 157 has one sole purpose which is to block out competitive printer cartridges. Now I am forced to purchase $300 worth of cartridges from machine that cost just that. Total scam these people are a sham . ... show more

    • Dump the Ink Jet Too expensive. This printer works every time for years and years and always ready
When not working it goes to sleep mode waiting for a command . Great for work and school . High quality laser printing. When you want color this work horse printer in not the answer . But hundred and hundreds of bucks on ink jet cartridges is ridiculous too. 90 percent of the time i only need black and white and 5000 copies on one cartridge is work every penny ... show more
