I was a little skeptical about the Evo. Let me tell you, I really like this concept. No measuring, no powder all over the place. Very easy to use. I swear by Tide Free and Gentle because I have eczema. My clothes get super clean without the strong fragrances.

Works great in hot water. Works well in warm water. Not dissolve all of the way in cold water from my experience. Love the convenience. Sent with my son to college as thought easier to haul to dorm laundry room. I kept a box at home to try. When used with a cold water wash (dark colors) - found 25% of a wafer on the back of a dark t-shirt - stuck like gel schmear. Took to sink and rinsed off and did come off but had I just blindly thrown that shirt into the dryer with the other wet clothing, could have been a real pain to fix. So use within the parameters it was designed for - hot water and maybe warm water. ... show more

I am very happy with the Tide Evo Free (unscented). It seems to get my clothes cleaner than the various detergent sheets I have used. I haven’t had a problem with any detergent residue in any of the 15 loads I have done so far. I have, however, only been using half of the detergent square per load. I have a front load washer and since it uses less water than a top loading machine, I normally the amount of detergent. My clothes still come out really clean. I feel this product works equally as well as the liquid Tide Free. It is a little more expensive per load than some detergent sheets, but the the quality of the product outweighs the price for me. And, since I tear them in half it is pretty economical. I’m quite happy with this detergent and will definitely keep using it. I really like that this product does not come in a large plastic container! Very environmentally friendly! ... show more

⚠️BEWARE ALLERGY and Eczema Users! ⚠️ If you or a family member has laundry detergents sensitivities and use TIDE FREE and GENTLE PODS or LIQUIDS without any reactions. You need to proceed with caution with these TIDE FREE and GENTLE EVO TILES: Although the brand packaging is identical. THEIR INGREDIENTS ARE DIFFERENT. The Evo Tiles contain Polyvinyl Alcohol Polymer or PVA. It's a MICROPLASTIC FOREVER CHEMICAL USED AS A WOOD SEALANT . PVA is manufactured in CHINA , JAPAN and NORTH KOREA. This is not a ingredient in the pods. Why a wood sealants is being used in laundry detergent. I don't know. Nor do I understand why Tide is putting microplastics in a product that is supposed to be good for the environment. When other companies are trying to help get microplastics out of our water. Due to the long-term impact they have on brain health. What I do know is two of us had reactions to these tiles. One person's reaction was a Eczema breakout that required medicated cream. While I personally broke out with hives and needed to take benadryl. All clothing and towels had to be rewashed. So this ended up not being a value, rather a costly irritating mistake. That we regret. Also noticed white patches of residue that felt rough on dark clothing seams. On pants not worn when I experienced the hive breakouts. Canceled my subscribe and save.
