Description

Keep tap water healthier and tasting better longer with Brita Longlast+ Pitcher Replacement Filters, which remove 99% of lead in your water. These long-lasting water filters are made with pleated filter technology for 3x longer life compared to 40 gallon filters. Longlast+ replacement filters reduce lead, asbestos, mercury, benzene, cadmium, and more. Change the Longlast+ filters every 120 gallons, about every 6 months for best performance. The pull top cap on these filters makes insertion and removal easy. With activated carbon to reduce chlorine taste and odor, these filters deliver great-tasting water and maintain a healthy level of fluoride (applies to fluoridated municipal tap water). The fibrous matrix in the filter holds active ingredients in place so no black flecks appear in your water. One Longlast+ Filter can replace 900 standard 16.9 ounce water bottles and reduces more contaminants vs. PUR and ZeroWater (based on NSF/WQA certifications for Brita OB06, PUR PPF951K, and ZeroWater ZF-201 pitcher filters as of 10/15/20). See certifications. Substances reduced may not be in all users’ water. Vs. tap. No bottles to throw away. 16.9 oz bottle. Approximate timing based on average family usage and 120-gallon filter.

  • Barely less particulates than your tap but that’s ok!
Size: 1 Count
I did a water particulate test and the results are in. 1st place is Zero water with of course 0 particulates. 2nd place is Starbucks reverse osmosis water with close to zero if not zero particulates. 3rd is ice mountain spring water with about 100 less particulates than tap. 4th place is the Brita with around 50 particulates less than tap. I have been wary of taking out all particulates in my water honestly. I retired the Zero water pitcher, refuse to buy bottled water, and can’t ask Starbucks for gallons so I have gladly settled with Brita as it filters out just a little extra from the tap (which should be just fine after letting some things evaporate out of it in a pitcher on your counter or in the fridge… as long as you don’t live in Flint.) • Makes the tap water taste good
Size: 2 Count
I have brought several of these. I got tired of buying cases of bottled water because of the increase in price. So to save money and use the tap water, I bought these filters. They take the heavy taste and smell out of the water. The water really tastes good and can drink immediately after flushing the filters for the first time. It says to change every 6 months but I stretch it out a month or 2 longer. Pros Improves tap water taste and smell Cons The price on these filters are going up Overall, it does the job and makes the tap water taste better. ... show more

  • They'll last 6 months if you don't drink any water.
Size: 1 Count
These are expensive but they're the only lead reducing filter on the market that actually works. The PUR filters get clogged and stop filtering within days. Now the big question, do these really last 6 months? Not even close. If you read the fine-print on the box, they are rated to last 6 months or 120 gallons. Assuming that you use these in a 10-cup pitcher and you drink all 10 cups (.625 gallons) per day, give or take a cup here or there, then you might be able to get it to last 6 months. For a family of four, I replace these about every month, at most every 2 months. Considering that a person drinks about 1 gallon of water per day. I've purchased 10 of these in the past 14 months and just replaced the 10th filter. And tap water is relatively clean where I live (just use the filter as a precaution due to old plumbing) so your mileage may vary if you have extra contaminants. ... show more

  • Perfect fit!
Size: 2 Count
I bought these to go in my Brita pitcher I have used for years with the white filters. I tried these because they last longer and filter the water better. Highly recommend.

  • Better, faster and pretty much the same price as the basic filters.
Size: 2 Count
I wanted to get more chemicals and micro plastics out of our water. I drink a lot of tap water. It may or may not be an issue, but if it is... These filters will take care of it. For the cost they're worth the extra protection. They filter the water much more quickly than the basic Brita filters, and you don't have to change them as often. So, for the price they're worth it. I don't think you have to be a health nut to find the value in these filters. ... show more

  • Don't last a full six months
Size: 2 Count
Overall, I like these filters. They just don't last a full six months for me. My tap water meets all city, state, and federal standards, and is crystal clear so dirty water cannot be the culprit. In the beginning, water flows through the filters quickly, but over a few months the flow slows to a few drops at a time. I change them every 3 months or so. That being said, I like them and the water tastes better than plain tap water. Maybe they work too well? ... show more

  • Granddaughter says my water tastes the best
Size: 1 Count
My granddaughter has noticed that the water at my house taste better than everyone else’s house. Granted, most of her other family lives in the country and drinks. Well, water… I don’t. But I also have a large water tank in my refrigerator that uses one of these filters.
