I bought this roof rack as it was specifically designed for my Equinox. That promise holds true as the attachment to the car uses the existing mounting bolts and no modifications are required. Getting the kit together was a minor challenge but the directions were clear so it did not take much to understand the process. I took the car out on the highway and never noticed any additional noise. That was a relief as previous racks were not as aerodynamic and produced noticeable noise at highway speeds.

Easy to install if you follow the directions. The have a nice finish, very sturdy and it took 45 minutes to put on. Minimal wind noise. Definitely recommend. The look of OEM with a much better price tag!

Love them. Texture is nice and very sturdy. Easy install, just make sure you leave all screws a little loose then go around and tighten. Thread lock on screws makes it a bit tough. I used my impact. Just make sure your bit or the included Allen wrench is fully seated. The screws will strip out easily if it's not. Getting them back out is a fun job being so close to so much glass. Wind noise is normal, nothing to bad.

The cross bars were easy to put on with the docking stations. So nice to have the bars fit like it came from the factory. The package comes with all the tools you need and the instructions are very easy to put on. Took me and a friend about 30mins to put on. No wind noise. I'm gonna use it to put a flat rack on top of my 2019 equinox for more storage.

Got these for my 2018 gmc terrain and they look just like the OEM ones. They’re solid, and I haven’t noticed any extra wind noise while driving. Installing them is a bit of a pain with the Allen wrench, just take your time so you don’t scratch the paint on the roof. Can’t beat the price. You’re getting something that looks OEM without spending an arm and a leg for it.

I gave it 5 stars for ease of install because...it is easy to install. took me 10 mins from box open to complete install. the instructions are pretty straight forward. if anyone has issues with these instructions... its you. I gave it 3 stars for sturdiness because i wont know how sturdy it is untill i load it up with camping gear in a few weeks.l but when you firm up the mounting screws it felt sturdy when i gave them a shake tho. I gave it 5 stars for value because its not easy trying to find an affordable roof rack since the factory discontinued making roof rack rails for 2019 equinox. Cons: like some of the 1 stars reviews stated the torx wrench, that is provided to remove the factory bolts from your vehicle, has loose tolerance to fit the bolt and can potentially strip the bolt. it almost happened to me. save yourself the trouble and get a quality torx bit with a socket wrench to remove the vehicle factory bolts.

I recently purchased this for my 2020 GMC Terrain so I can transport my kayak without damaging the shark fin antenna. This is identical to the factory part, just alot cheaper but does the job and seems well built! First you have to remove the "screws" from the roof rails (which aren't real screws and you have to pull them out with a pair of pliers).. I set them aside incase I ever remove my cross rails.. As others have mentioned, I did have some issues with the included bolts.. they were just too long and I didn't feel safe forcing them in, and not being able to remove them in the winter.. so I purchased some washers to fix the issue! As simple as that, and I was able to get the cross bars installed tight and had no issues transporting my kayak! Well worth the price.. I was going to buy the CargoLoc ones but figured go with something that is specifically designed for your car!
