Do yourself a favor and chuck all those cheaper plastic crinkling leaking POS hoses. This is real rubber and meant to last. I've had these all my life, along with simple brass attachment sprayers (literally unbreakable, unlike all that plastic crap on the market). The ONLY time one leaked was when my wife was pulling out in a giant SUV, ran over a ladder and the hose together, and damaged both. This hose is just like the old and discontinued Sears garden hose which used to be the best in my opinion. 100% rubber with nickle ends very flexible and soft. nick-resistant and will not harden over time. The last hose you will probably buy.

    • best quality hose for my needs

The water pressure at my outside hose bibs is only 45psi, so when i attached a lightweight flexible hose i made it worse and couldnt get decent sprays from my sprayer. I decided to try this hose because the description seemed that the hose would be able to maintain the pressure better. It really works! This is 25ft longer than my previous hose but the heavy duty rubber hose provides great pressure. It is heavy to lift, and does kink, but i have mitigated both those features by using a standing wind up hose stand. Minimal kinking with that, and no loss of water pressure, and the weight of the hose is not a problem. This is a great hose that solves several problems at once! ... show more

This is a solid quality built hose. It can be used for hot and cold water (which most hoses can not). I have purchased three of these hoses and they are still going strong after years of use. This hose may kink but you can easily un-kink it and it won't leave the hose with a permanent crease. Made of heavy duty rubber it has never punctured or worn out over the years. The fittings/couplings are also quality and have never needed replacement. Because of the quality heavy duty construction this hose is heavy, so if you are looking for a lightweight hose to drag around the yard this is not it. However, I will take durability over weight any day. I have thrown out other hoses that were less expensive and made claims of durability, this hose lives up to the hype. ... show more

We like that it doesn’t kink like all the other hoses we’ve had. It’s sturdy pliable and easy roll back up. We will be purchasing another one of these. No more Costco hoses for us.
