All the ingredients came in perfect condition. The yiest is fresh considering it expires in 2023. Instructions are very clear. You just need a big pot, sanitizer and a fermenter. I will brew tomorrow, and will update once the beer is ready for consumption. Edit: In brew day I had a very strong fermentation going on after just a couple of hours. However, after the first 48 hours final gravity was high (1.020), and after 2 weeks of fermentation final gravity has not changed (added extra yeast on day 10, but had no effect) 1.020, which means I may get 3% alcohol beer. Maybe the extract wasn't very fresh? This seems to be a common problem with extract kits, but it is nevertheless disappointing. The taste is gorgeous though. If you've ever visited the "porterhouse" in Dublin, this tastes really close to their "hophead". ... show more

Product is normally great from the local store but this box came with a lot of spilled product in the box creating a mess. It does not appear anything leaked from the bags, it looks like it happened when assembling the kit. Inspected by number 21.

Can't go wrong with Brewers best fornkit beer. The flavor is.... Well it's okay for kit beer but I still love Brewers Best overall.
