  • Good Co2 Regulator for the money
Size: One Output Barb - Mildly Carbonated
This is a good sturdy regulator. There is a lock ring on the co2 regulator knob that is especially helpful to lock the highest pressure you desire making it effortless to reduce and increase pressure back to a desired setting. I used some teflon tape to secure the connection, I start out with the threaded knob and the tank knob closed and the little black valve opened. Open the threaded knob a little, open the tank know fully to test..repeat opening the threaded knob a tiny bit until you get the desired flow. Then set the stop and never move the threaded knob again! The pressure relief valve functions smoothly works well. ... show more

  • (Update) cheap and Unreliable
Size: One Output Barb - Mildly Carbonated
Update: Manufacturer contacted and apologized for the issues. Apparently, they’re a new company and still working to smooth everything out. They offered to send a new regulator free of charge, no strings attached. They noted my critiques and conceded there’s room for improvement. Changed from 3 to 4 stars for proactive vendor. Out of the box, the regulator would not funnel air through the output valve. I followed the instructions for “stuck value knob”, but this did not fix it. I ended up removing the on/off knob. I could have possibly overtightened the knob and jammed it in place. The overpressure preventer value blows out at 40psi. Anything over 40psi (granted this regulator is rated for 60) triggers the emergency pressure release mechanism. I used a ziptie to prevent the release valve from opening. Consequently, the regulator can now comfortably output 0-100psi ( I may have received a defective item, but since it was easily fixed, I won’t be returning it. Be warned of potentially faulty regulators. I’m sure many customers have had flawless performance from the regulator, but this was unfortunately not my experience. I will concede that once I modified the regulator, I’ve since had no problems. TL;DR: Defective item, maybe? Rated for 60psi, but realistically can only output 40psi due to an easily fixable defect. Build quality is otherwise good. Manufactured offered free replacement with no required return. Edit: After leaving this review, the manufacturer of this product reached out and sent me a new regulator with a correction to the overpressure valve. They did this free of charge and did not request the old regulator be returned. 5 stars for a proactive merchant with good business practices and customer support. The new regulator works as intended. ... show more

  • Great for a home carbonation rig!!!
Size: One Output Barb - Mildly Carbonated
This regulator seems well made and has functioned flawlessly in my first two months of ownership. My only beef, and it is a small one, the barbed fitting was listed as 5/16" but it seemed closer to 1/4". I use this regulator with a 5/16" ID line (also purchased from Amazon...ATP Vinyl Flex PVC food grade plastic tubing 5/16"ID x 7/16" OD, 10' length...very happy with the line). I was able to make a secure connection with the use of the included hose clamp but I was a bit nervous during my first few uses as I wondered if the connection would disconnect under 40-50 psi of pressure (it hasn't yet). I was tempted to save ~$10 by purchasing a CO2 regulator from Harbor Freight that was similar, though the HF model did not have the shutoff valve built into the regulator. In hindsight, I think I made the correct call to spend a little more for the better featured unit from Amazon. Overall I'm very happy with my setup and have already carbonated 15 - 20 gallons of filtered tap water in my first two months with this DIY setup. ... show more

  • UPDATED REVIEW: NOW 5 STARS
Size: One Output Barb - Mildly Carbonated
UPDATED REVIEW (August 2019): Forever Supplier should be used as a case study for excellent customer service. I had problems with a regulator that I purchased in February. However, the problems started after the Amazon return window closed. Soon after posting my original review, Adele from Forever Supplier contacted me. She kept in contact with me during the entire process, including the return and replacement. Adele even followed up to make sure the regulator was working properly weeks after I received it. This is the kind of customer service that all companies should aspire to. Thanks Adele and Forever Supplier! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I purchased the Keg Regulator in February. Yesterday while attached to the CO2 canister, the gauge started spinning completely around (past the stop point) and then it leaked all the gas from a new CO2 canister. Up until yesterday, it was working perfectly. It has not been dropped or damaged in any way. Unfortunately, it is now beyond the Amazon return window. I am hoping that Forever Supplier will help solve this problem. I had read many good reviews about the regulator, and am hoping that this is simply a defective unit, and not indicative of a bigger problem with the manufacturing of the regulator. I'd be happy to update this review if I am able to get a new regulator that is in working order. ... show more

  • Good regulator, barb is small - Updated to one star
Size: One Output Barb - Mildly Carbonated
Overall this is a good unit. Easy to read, easy to adjust. The only issue is that the hose barb seems a bit small. It says its a 5/16 barb, which would be standard size for a CO2 line, but its substantially smaller than other 5/16 barbs and the hose seems quite loose. I was able to secure it with the provided clamps, but I'm concerned about leaks. I think the barb is actually for a 3/16 hose, or maybe 1/4 inch. It would be simple enough to swap the barb, or change out the hose. Right now I'm using my existing 5/16 tubing and the hose barb, but I might switch it out if it seems the gas is running out fast. - Updated with lower rating. So after using this for a bit I've come to experience all of the same issues other people have complained about. The pressure relief valve started leaking and the regulator cannot maintain common serving pressures (8-12psi). I now have to check my regulator regularly and fiddle with the dial as it often drops to zero pressure at seemingly random times. Its too bad, there's a lot to like with this unit, but ultimately if it cannot hold pressure and suffers from leaks, then its not very useful. ... show more
