This has been a great product. I have used it on multiple home brew kegs.

  • (Update) cheap and Unreliable
Size: One Output Barb - Mildly Carbonated
Update: Manufacturer contacted and apologized for the issues. Apparently, they’re a new company and still working to smooth everything out. They offered to send a new regulator free of charge, no strings attached. They noted my critiques and conceded there’s room for improvement. Changed from 3 to 4 stars for proactive vendor. Out of the box, the regulator would not funnel air through the output valve. I followed the instructions for “stuck value knob”, but this did not fix it. I ended up removing the on/off knob. I could have possibly overtightened the knob and jammed it in place. The overpressure preventer value blows out at 40psi. Anything over 40psi (granted this regulator is rated for 60) triggers the emergency pressure release mechanism. I used a ziptie to prevent the release valve from opening. Consequently, the regulator can now comfortably output 0-100psi ( I may have received a defective item, but since it was easily fixed, I won’t be returning it. Be warned of potentially faulty regulators. I’m sure many customers have had flawless performance from the regulator, but this was unfortunately not my experience. I will concede that once I modified the regulator, I’ve since had no problems. TL;DR: Defective item, maybe? Rated for 60psi, but realistically can only output 40psi due to an easily fixable defect. Build quality is otherwise good. Manufactured offered free replacement with no required return. Edit: After leaving this review, the manufacturer of this product reached out and sent me a new regulator with a correction to the overpressure valve. They did this free of charge and did not request the old regulator be returned. 5 stars for a proactive merchant with good business practices and customer support. The new regulator works as intended. ... show more

  • Avoid this and go for a brand name
Size: One Output Thread - Mildly Carbonated
I was preparing to host my daughter's wedding rehearsal dinner when I discovered that my CO2 regulator had a leak. No!!!! Gallons of homebrew at risk!!!! I had two days to come up with a replacement (and refill the tank) so I looked for options on Prime. I try to avoid devices that are obviously the same thing sold by multiple retailers because that's typically a sign you're getting a lower quality item. I ignored the voice in my head and bought this one anyway because it looked OK and I needed it fast. Big mistake. Come the day of the rehearsal I discovered that the pressure relief valve was defective. In the end I hastily hacked together parts from the new and old regulators and managed to get through the party without a CO2. I did not try to return the regulator because swapping out parts chewed up the soft chrome and I'd already resolved to order a brand name regulator. Avoid this and get yourself a brand name. ... show more

  • Great for a home carbonation rig!!!
Size: One Output Barb - Mildly Carbonated
This regulator seems well made and has functioned flawlessly in my first two months of ownership. My only beef, and it is a small one, the barbed fitting was listed as 5/16" but it seemed closer to 1/4". I use this regulator with a 5/16" ID line (also purchased from Amazon...ATP Vinyl Flex PVC food grade plastic tubing 5/16"ID x 7/16" OD, 10' length...very happy with the line). I was able to make a secure connection with the use of the included hose clamp but I was a bit nervous during my first few uses as I wondered if the connection would disconnect under 40-50 psi of pressure (it hasn't yet). I was tempted to save ~$10 by purchasing a CO2 regulator from Harbor Freight that was similar, though the HF model did not have the shutoff valve built into the regulator. In hindsight, I think I made the correct call to spend a little more for the better featured unit from Amazon. Overall I'm very happy with my setup and have already carbonated 15 - 20 gallons of filtered tap water in my first two months with this DIY setup. ... show more

  • UPDATED REVIEW: NOW 5 STARS
Size: One Output Barb - Mildly Carbonated
UPDATED REVIEW (August 2019): Forever Supplier should be used as a case study for excellent customer service. I had problems with a regulator that I purchased in February. However, the problems started after the Amazon return window closed. Soon after posting my original review, Adele from Forever Supplier contacted me. She kept in contact with me during the entire process, including the return and replacement. Adele even followed up to make sure the regulator was working properly weeks after I received it. This is the kind of customer service that all companies should aspire to. Thanks Adele and Forever Supplier! ORIGINAL REVIEW: I purchased the Keg Regulator in February. Yesterday while attached to the CO2 canister, the gauge started spinning completely around (past the stop point) and then it leaked all the gas from a new CO2 canister. Up until yesterday, it was working perfectly. It has not been dropped or damaged in any way. Unfortunately, it is now beyond the Amazon return window. I am hoping that Forever Supplier will help solve this problem. I had read many good reviews about the regulator, and am hoping that this is simply a defective unit, and not indicative of a bigger problem with the manufacturing of the regulator. I'd be happy to update this review if I am able to get a new regulator that is in working order. ... show more

  • Works great, priced right
Size: One Output Thread - Mildly Carbonated
This regulator replaced an old taprite that had started to leak. It seems to be made well and is not leaking(3 months after purchase). Leaving a review here to say that, while there are plastic washers included, my regulator came with a tank nipple that has a captive o-ring, like Taprite regulators have. This makes the plastic washers unnecessary. A little confusing for those who've never used regulators with a captive oring, but now i have extra washers for my other regulators. ... show more

  • It Does Have an Adjustment for Pressure Relief Valve
Size: One Output Barb - Mildly Carbonated
I purchased this unit to carbonate water. The font and images on the enclosed directions are tiny, but comprehensive, except the pressure relief valve setting. The item title specifies working pressure to 60-PSI, I (and many others that appear in the reviews) experienced the pressure relief valve firing at lower pressures. Mine initially released at 45-PSI. I liked the unit, it was a good price and seemed reasonably well-made, but I’ve determined that the optimum conditions for carbonating water are cooling it to a few degrees above freezing and injecting CO2 at 55-PSI. I asked a question through the standard mechanism and within a few hours the seller described how to increase the relief pressure by turning a slot/notch just beneath the pressure relief pull ring. Problem solved, thanks to the seller for the quick response. ... show more
