I have been home brewing since the early 1990s and have tried numerous recipes and different brews. This one is the one I like best. Personal taste. . Kit easy to use and consistent results.

I have 2 weeks to wait for actual taste test but currently I'm looking at an amber ale,not an ipa. There was no sugar nor bottle caps in the kit. That being said,so far it has an interesting taste and I will post again after taste test. Also I only got 41 bottles out of this batch.

Good kit to purchase if you like Pale Ales

I ordered the BB Classic IPA and brewed it a few weeks ago. Right after flame out I noticed that it was way darker than it should be but I let it ferment for 2 weeks. After testing the gravity a few times the color was too dark for an IPA and the flavor/smell was malty. I believe that I received the right box with some of the the wrong ingredients, mainly the liquid malt. This is a brown ale and way too malty for my tastes. I am not sure how to get a refund but I will try.

This kit was easy to do and I really love he flavor of it. I usually like to mix it up and brew different kinds but really might do this one again. My only advice would be measure out the sugar. They give you more than you need. I was afraid to use too little because when beer is undercarbonated it goes in the trash but overcarbonated just means slightly more head. I used all the sugar (which the directions tell you not to do) and it is a bit overcarbonated.

Everything to brew five gallons of excellent IPA in a convenient package. If you don't have a good brew store in town, this is the next best thing. Big tip for better results: Let it age before drinking, the longer, the better. A month in a carboy followed by three months in the bottle.
