  • A complete system makes home Brewing easier, and it's great FUN! A complete system makes home Brewing easier, and it's great FUN!
Style Name: BeerDroid
I have been considering getting into home brewing for some time, but I am not necessarily enamored with the "chemistry" or the thought of massively customizing my beer, to start out with anyway. The BrewArt system caught my eye because it is more of a self contained appliance that makes the brewing process more approachable and when connected to WiFi it actually updates me on the process of my brew - how cool is that! SETUP: Setup was pretty easy overall, pull the unit out of the box and set on a counter top. It really is convenient to have a sink very close, so I setup my BeerDroid in our kitchen near the sink for my first brew. Longer term, I will be clearing an area near my bar sink, but I don't have a huge bar area and the BeerDroid is a bit larger than I expected - think of it as taking about as much room up on a counter surface as a medium size microwave. I downloaded the App, created an account, and linked my BeerDroid to my WiFi - all pretty straightforward. The display on the BeerDroid gives you some basic feedback about connection to WiFi, what type of Beer you are brewing, elapsed brewing days, etc. My one nitpick about the display is that the backlight cannot be turned off, so it does bathe the room in orange light on really dark nights- turned out OK for our house as it sort of acts as a kitchen night light anyway. I followed the included instructions, and sanitized the unit with the included sanitizing tablet- pretty easy. BREW-TIME: I was now ready to start my very first Brew - the included brew art kit was an american pale ale. This now got my Wife pretty interested! I first added about 10 litres of clean filtered water (not specified in the instructions, but in my opinion good beer should start with good water). We worked together to add the ingredients as specified in the instructions, and found ourselves discussing and brainstorming other flavors and ingredients we could add in the future to tweek the recipe!. Pay attention to the small labels on each pouch that identify what's inside and everything will go pretty smoothly. Close the lid and keep in an area where it wont be disturbed and go about your business - the App will notify you when certain stages are complete, when the BeerDroid is cooling/heating - even shows temp control graph, which will come in handy if I start to customize our brews. There is a viewing window on the BeerDroid housing that allows you to see inside, and there is a light that will illuminate the inside so you can check on the status of your brew - that was cool to see it gradually look like golden beer in there, the kids got into that as well. TRANSFER TO KEGS: You can choose to bottle directly from the BeerDroid with a bottling kit and primer, but I chose to go with the full BrewArt system and also purchased the BeerFlo beer dispenser- which I also reviewed. I set my BeerDroid to "READY TO KEG" mode and it automatically changed the temperature to be ready for kegging. The BeerFlo accepts small kegs, which are very well thought out overall - the kegs come with disposable liners and easy clean quick connect fittings and lines. After sanitizing everything with another included sanitizing tablet, I assembled the components for both of the kegs. I could see how Kegging could be messy if you are not careful. With a little help from my wife, we were able to successfully transfer all of the brew to the two kegs, with only a few drops spilling on to the kitchen floor. I will definitely be purchasing the optional keg holder bracket for my next brew. Before closing up my Keg, I NEARLY forgot to add the sucrose (primer)! I then set the Kegs aside on the included storage rings and waited nearly two weeks for the carbonation stage to complete. This is really where my one nit-pick comes into play - which can be easily remedied. I used the app throughout the brewing process, and I would have liked to continue sing it to track elapsed carbonation time, so that I know when I can put my keg into the Beer Flo dispenser. I simply set a Google reminder, but it would have been great to integrate this into the app as well. Clean up of the BeerDroid was pretty easy after brewing, I used my sink sprayer to clean out the BeerDroid, popped out the tap and cleaned that up- done. Pretty straightforward and easy. I definitely would say DO NOT use any sort of abrasive pad or sponge to clean the inside of the BeerDroid - it is a smooth and shiny plastic surface that wipes clean easily - if you use something abrasive to clean in there, it will leave micro-scratches over time and will make it more difficult to clean. BREWFLO: The BrewFlo is a nice product that completes the system. Beerdroid brews the beer, BrewFlo is the complementing dispenser. The BrewFlo has it's own refrigeration, and a built in compressor fo some sort. The Tap handle is nice overall, and has a good feel to it. The way that the tubing is integrated and the quick disconnects on the mini kegs make this a pretty easy to setup and use unit. It's a good thing they made the tubing components disposable to ensure a clean system. I did have one output tube that was not tightly assembled enough and leaked a bit, so that tube never allowed the system to properly pressurize. The kit came with multiple tubes, so I simply replaced it with another one and I was good to go. The setup is pretty simple. Once you have your beer in mini kegs, you simply open the top and drop in the mini keg. Then, connect the quick fittings to the input and output lines. There are some detailed videos outlining everything yo need to know, but it's really pretty self evident. The only tricky part is getting the output tube fished into that tap- I did not notice at first there is a panel that comes off on the tap that allows you to more easily feed the output tube into the tap. If i had just read the instructions more thoroughly I would have seen that. After you plug in the unit and turn it on, the unit will cool the beer to serving temperature (which you can adjust right on the unit) in about 24 hours, so plan ahead for any gathering or event you may have in which you wish to serve your home brew. You will also periodically hear the compressor kick on for 10-20 seconds. It's not super loud, sort of similar volume to an air filter unit, or dehumidifier. But it does have some random noises, so keep that in mind when you consider placement. There is also a weight sensor inside the unit, and right on the display it tells you how much beer is left in the mini keg - cool! One other cool thing I discovered, the tapper top is remove-able, and can be opened so you can insert your own custom beer insert. This thing has been a hit at several get togethers and events the last few months, and it keeps my beer at the perfect temperature! It is a nice unit that rounds out the Brew Art system, it just makes home brewing beer more enjoyable and eliminates any hassle overall. BEER ME: When all was said and done, I was left with 10 Litres of a nice, HOME MADE american pale ale! The dispenser (BeerFlo) keeps my beer at the perfect Temperature and ready to pour. This process was very FUN and easy with the BrewPrint system, just follow the instructions and use the APP. The big surprise for me is how the whole family got involved in the process, I honestly thought I would be the only one interested in our family - but everyone was pretty curious and involved. It has also been a constant conversation piece when friends are over, which is always fun to show off and share your own home-brew beer with friends! If you have been thinking of getting into home brewing, but it always seemed a bit daunting, like an "insiders only" club for beer-brewing experts only, this is for you. The BeerDroid and it's carefully selected BrewPrints make it easy, fun, and engaging for anyone to get into home brewing. I cant wait to start another Beer.... ... show more

Style Name: BeerDroid
I really like Brewart’s solution for craft beer based on what I’ve seen and used so far, the BeerDroid fermenter and associated kegging equipment. My first beer is in the secondary fermentation stage with another week or so to go. I’ve been a home brewer for 30+ years, on and off. Mostly “off” recently as It’s hard to find the time: 1 or 2 hours for planning and purchasing a partial mash recipe at a local brew store 5 or so hours of alone time without my spouse in the kitchen to cook the recipe and clean up afterwards. 1 or 2 hours after brewing complete to bottle and/or keg the brew While I really enjoy being able to share the finished product with family and friends (and drink some myself), it’s too hard to find the time every month or so to make a new batch. I’m changing to BrewArt as it is much less time consuming, as well as reviews showing it makes really good beer. It’s proving to be a real timesaver to get me excited about brewing again. The trade-off: I’m giving up control over things like recipes and ingredients, as BrewArt has designed a “walled garden” system for brewing. The BrewArt solution consists of: The BeerDroid, a temperature/app controlled fermenter for 10 liters of beer BrewPrints, complete kits for 45+ different types of beer for use with the Beerdroid BrewArt’s complete kegging pack, each keg holds 5 liters of beer. (BrewArt also sells bottles and a filling tube for bottling beer.) The BrewFlo, for dispensing beer kegs The BrewArt app The BrewArt website and support, which I’ve found to be very responsive. The BrewArt site also provides a community for sharing experiences. The initial outlay for the BeerDroid is expensive, but my guess is I’ve spent near that amount over the years in a never-ending quest to try to control the beer making process (can anyone say “wort chiller”?). The BeerDroid provides control over the process, plus I’ll finally be able to try some lagers, which require a controlled temperature for fermentation that is lower than the room temperature allowable for ales. My first impressions of the Beerdroid, Brewprint, and the BrewArt App out of the box: I had to do some quick assembly by inserting the tap, then another 15 minutes to install the Brewart app and hook the Brewdroid to my wifi system. The setup went smoothly and my Brewdroid gained a name through this process: “Beery White”. The Brewart app’s “101” section extremely useful -- it consists of many short videos every aspect of setup, sterilization, brewing, kegging, and even pouring the brew. I used these videos almost exclusively to guide my efforts. An Australian narrator was a nice touch! After sanitizing the keg by filling it with water, popping in a sanitizing tablet (supplied) and waiting an hour, I was ready to brew. Now the big difference, instead of the 5 hour brewing time mentioned above, I spent maybe 15 minutes starting the brew for a “Spoke Amber Ale” Brewprint. All I did was fill the BrewDroid with water, open the various packets of ingredients, and gently pour on top - no need to stir. In the BrewArt app I selected “Spoke” and started brewing! The Brewart app alerted me to the progress of the beer, starting with “propagation”, then detecting “fermentation” starting. When Beery White detected the fermentation was complete, it alert me that it was ready to keg. This was about 5 days. Next step, kegging. This is a fairly straightforward process: sanitizing tubes, connectors, and keg caps by disassembling, placing in a pan with water, adding another sanitizing tablet, and waiting 1 hour. inserting disposable liners into plastic keg jars adding hop extracts and keg primer (sucrose) from the Spoke Brewprint, then dispensing beer from the Beerdroid into the kegs The app brewing 101 videos directed me through this process I encountered a problem during sterilization of the kegging equipment. When dumping out the sterilization water, I must have lost 2 of 4 small poppets used for the keg cap assemblies. In the future I need to have a list of items to check for when laying everything out to dry, before dumping the water down the sink. BrewArt support came back quickly and said they’d send me replacement poppets at no charge. I didn’t want to wait for the replacement poppets, though I could have. The BrewDroid has a “storage” mode, which cools the beer wort until ready to keg, then can warm it up again to the proper kegging temperature. With only 2 of the poppets, I could fill one keg of beer, and decided to bottle the rest. This will allow me to compare bottled vs. kegged, as well as providing beer that I can give to family and friends for their opinion as well. Conclusion: This is a really good product and I’m excited to be brewing again. I’ll be choosing some more BrewPrints (from a selection of 45+) to try. As long as the beer is really good, I’ll be happy, even though the “walled garden” is counter to what I’ve done for years as a home brewer. ... show more

  • This thing is awesome!
Style Name: BeerDroid
I've been looking into home brewing for years but after watching a friend with a home brew kit make their beer I decided it wasn't worth the hassle. I wanted something where I didn't have to spend half a day or more making beer! If that is you, this is definitely the system for you! With the exception of sanitizing, it literally takes you 10 minutes or less the get your brew started! I'll break this review down into a few different parts in hopes that it helps push others over the edge to buy this amazing machine! BeerDroid- So, I initially bought my first Beerdroid from the BrewArt website about 5 months ago and have enjoyed it so much that I've purchased another from Amazon after the price dropped from $799 to $499. I can't emphasize enough how good of deal this is! This machine is absolutely amazing! The initial setup of the machine is really quite simple - follow the directions in the instruction manual to download the app and get the system connected to your WiFi. After this, you will need to sanitize your equipment prior to starting a brew. This process takes a total of about 2 hours but is really pretty painless. Each BrewPrint (the beer) comes with a sanitizing tablet. Essentially you fill the machine to within a 1/4" of the top with warm tap water and drop the tablet in and let is sit for an hour then come back and open the tap and let about a half a cup of the liquid out and then close the tap and let it sit for another hour. All these steps are on the 101 videos on the BrewArt site and I cant emphasize enough how important it is to watch these videos multiple times. They are so detailed and will walk you through every bit of the process. I bet I watched each video 10 times. Do not skip any part of the sanitizing process - it is vital to an excellent finished product. I even went as far as getting some StarSan (another sanitizer) to spray down the machine after the initial sanitization to ensure the machine was clean. I've yet to have an infected beer following this process. Once the sanitizing process is complete you are ready to start. You can use tap water but would with caution as everyone's tap water is different and depending on the amount of chlorine in your tap water you may want to purchase campden tables to break down the chlorine. Pretty simple to use - just fill the BeerDroid with 10 liters of water and drop in a couple tablets and carry on with the process. Otherwise, you can purchase spring water pretty cheap at the supermarket and fill to the 10L mark or what the specific BrewPrint requires as far as volume (some higher alcohol content brews require 9L). After this, you drop in the yeast first (very important), followed by the elements and enhancers. You will notice the ingredients do not sink and seem to float on top of the water. This is normal - DO NOT MIX at the risk of contaminating your brew. The yeast will break down the sugars over the next 24-48 hours and creates a vortex within the machine and mixes the ingredients on its own. One you've added all the ingredients (with the exception of the hops and primers which will be used later after the beer has finished fermenting) close the lid and open your app and select the beer you are brewing and hit start brew and just like that you are done. Just sit back and watch your app and and machine do the work as regular updates are provided through the app. Once fermentation is complete you will get a message on your app saying that your brew has finished fermenting and is preparing to keg (needs to be a specific temperature). In the meantime, you will need to sanitize your kegging equipment for 1 hour. The 101 videos will walk you through this but I double sanitize with StarSan and a spray bottle here too. Depending on the BrewPrint, you will add hops directly to the BeerDroid or to the kegs. This is where you will want to watch the BrewArt 101 videos multiple times! The kegging process can be a bit tricky the first time so you will want to be prepared. Particular attention should be paid to ensuring that you don't cross-thread the keg liners and make sure you have assembled everything properly - again the videos should be watched multiple times and be at your side when you are kegging. I also high recommend the purchase of the keg caddy for kegging - it will make your life much easier and can be purchased on the BrewArt website. Once you are ready to keg, you will attach the keg liners to the plastic keg caps being extremely careful not to cross the threads (sometimes a half turn anti-clockwise and then firm pressure downward and clockwise will get them to seat properly). I will warn you this takes multiple attempts at first but after you get a few brews done it gets to be such a simple process. Finally, depending on the BrewPrint you will add the hops and then the primers to the kegs and following the 101 videos which will guide you through the rest of the process. Make sure to double and triple check all of your connections to make sure they are tight and assembled correctly or else you may make a mess on your floor while kegging. Particular attention being made to the connectors on the filling tube as they should snap into place so make sure they are tight. Once your brew is kegged, sit back and wait for a minimum of 2 weeks for you brew to condition. Remember the longer you wait the better your brew will be in both flavor, carbonation, and head retention. I currently shoot for 8 weeks in secondary fermentation -- it makes a huge difference in taste and quality of the beer. Once you have reached your conditioning timer, throw the kegs in the fridge over night to pre-chill (much faster chill time than the BrewFlo). Take the keg out of the fridge put in BrewFlo following the directions on the 101 videos and your all set! Get ready to taste some great homemade craft beers! On a side note, I would also recommend joining the FaceBook group for BrewArt owners. The group there is extremely active and so many guy/gals there to help you start your brewing adventure. I haven't been this excited about beer in a long time and this machine is absolutely amazing. I find myself dreaming up different things to add to my beers to make them unique. Currently conditioning a Peanut Butter Chocolate Porter that I cannot wait to try. The beauty of this machine is that you can alter BrewPrints to your liking or you can stick to the recipe provided. Happy brewing! ... show more

  • Freshly Brewed Beer at the Push of a Button, almost...
Style Name: BeerDroid
I have to say this product is very slick. Really well put together and engineered. I’d tried homebrewing before with a couple of friends over the years who were really into it, it was fun but just seemed really time consuming with a lot of specialized equipment, messy, and frankly the margin for error seemed high as a neophyte. The BeerDroid removes all of those issues and makes homebrewing about as simple as it can be. There’s now literally “an app for that” which I think is pretty solid overall, could be a bit better from the UI graphics perspective but that’s the app not the machine itself and really I’m just being persnickety it’s totally functional and easy to use as well as intuitive. I was able to set up the BeerDroid and pair it to my app on the first try in less than 5 minutes. I will say that I did not anticipate having to sanitize all the equipment before being able to make my first batch (just wanted to dive right in) but it was easy with the included sanitation tablets and once I got used to was done pretty quickly. This gave me some time to read through the instruction which are thorough and very descriptive, from time to time I had to reread areas as it got a little technical but I’m certainly not an expert in homebrewing so it was educational on to how beer brewing actually works at the same time, so that was cool. Once I got familiar and got everything sanitized and assembled I set out to brew my first batch and honestly it was almost too easy, basically just ripped open the packages in the kit mixed it together then let the BeerDroid do its thing. The app was cool and kept me informed I supposed I could have dialed it in myself if I felt like it but didn’t really want to mess with it too much, first batch came out pretty solid! Friends were impressed, and I have to admit it was fun and easier than I thought. I’m excited to try the various flavors and kits now, I think it’s pretty affordable when you compare it to the cost of a couple of six packs of a good craft beer, but you get so much more beer and a feeling of accomplishment. I would say that this is really a two part system to enjoy properly and you need to buy the Brewflo as well in order to make the most of having the fresh beer on tap and icee cold might I say. Pretty nice to come home after work and pour a frosty fresh beer I must say. I gave this product five stars due to all of these reasons but on the innovation alone I just thought this was a rally impressive product and I’m glad I decided to buy it, confident I will get years of use out of it and have a fun new hobby being a homebrewer (kind of). ... show more

  • Great for a first time home brewer Great for a first time home brewer
Style Name: BeerDroid
I bought the beerdroid because I wanted to get into home brewing, but starting out was a bit daunting. I wanted home brewing to be more a hobby than a chore. The beerdroid automates (including temperature control) the brewing process providing the proper environment for the fermentation process for the specific type of brew being made. What I like, after using it for the first time, is that I feel the beerdroid will help me make consistent, uncontaminated brews. It has predefined settings for brewprints and handles temperature control throughout the initial fermentation process prior to kegging. I am looking forward to experimenting, but right now I am happy to just brew the brewprints directly as intended. Wifi and phone app: I had no trouble connecting the beerdroid to my in house wifi and the app immediately detected my beerdroid (which I named Beerthirty). The app is easy to use and allows you to control the beerdroid from your phone (android in my case). It actually does more than that because it lets you track the entire brewing process from ordering -> brewing -> kegging -> storing (including making notes). The app will notify you when fermentation has been detected in your brew and shows you the temperature the beerdroid is currently maintaining along with the current brewing stage. Sanitizing: Cleaning the beerdroid prior to brewing was pretty simple. Filled the beerdroid with water and dropped in sanitizing tablet that came with the brewprint. Waited 2 hours and rinsed. That’s pretty much it. Brewing: Filled the beerdroid with 10 litres of water. The brewprint makes the rest easy. Yeast in the water first, then the other dry ingredients. Closed the lid and pressed start brew on my phone. Done. Kegging: Took about 20 minutes of my time. Sanitizing the kegging parts again was pretty simple and watching the online videos was helpful. I did mess up one of the two kegs (see below), but now that I know what I am doing that probably won’t happen again. Cleaning: After kegging, cleaning the beerdroid was easy. I had some issue pulling out the tap (see below), but cleaning was just a matter of wiping out some residue and rinsing the yeast that had collected at the bottom out of the drain hole of the beerdroid. A few things to note: * Some may not like the disposable items and having to purchase them for each brew. It doesn’t bother me because I think it simplifies the process and helps reduce the risk of contamination. * The brewprint that came with the beerdroid didn’t come with a yeast packet. However, I contacted brewart and they promptly sent me a replacement packet. Be sure and take an inventory of the brewprint when you receive it. * On my first keg I didn’t screw the connector onto the keg liner straight and the beer leaked outside the liner into the keg itself. I learned the hard way what it meant when the instructions said “Be careful not to cross thread the connector”. I thought it meant don’t turn too tightly and strip the threads. What they meant was to make sure and get the threads aligned and straight (see pictures). I rectified this on the second keg. * When preparing to clean the beerdroid after kegging my first brew, I had some difficulty pulling out the tap at the base of the beerdroid. I was afraid I might break the tap. However, after a bit of gentle/slight twisting and strong pulling I was able to remove it. * I also bought the beerflow, but will review that separately after secondary fermentation is complete. ... show more

  • Easy & Good Too Easy & Good Too
Style Name: BeerDroid
For years I'd wanted to try my hand at brewing my own craft beers. I had even gone as far as buying some of the brewing gear and books on brewing, but I was really daunted by the process of brewing the wart and everything that goes into it, from equipment, space, and safety. When I found the BrewArt BeerDroid system and the idea of a complete turn key way to brew some beer I felt like I'd struck gold. After receiving the BeerDroid and BrewFlo dispenser I went right to work on the included first BrewPrint, an American Pale Ale. I'm more of an IPA guy myself, but the APA turned out really well and I was able to watch the whole process happen on my iPhone through their App. One of the things that really attracted me was the compact size, mind you they aren't super small but I was able to set it up on a table in my workroom instead of tying up the counters in the kitchen which my wife really appreciated. Pros: Easy to use Pretty much fully turnkey Beer turns out great Cons: Being picky, I thought the BrewFlo should have included the little Keg Caddy to help in kegging off the beer, you don't need to have it, but it sure would have been nice to have Instructions & Labeling - You'll need to watch the videos a few times to understand which packets to add and when, the packets are not well marked in my opinion More Amazon items - the BrewArt site has tons of BrewPrints and other accessories. I'd like to see all of that available through Amazon.com so that I could just order with Prime like I do everything else Final thoughts: If you want a low hassle way to start making your own beer to share with friends this system is the way to go. • Maybe the easiest way to Brew Great Homebrew
Style Name: BeerDroid
I Homebrewed regularly for about ten years, then got out of it because of the time requirement to do traditional Home Brewing. I'd spend 2-3 hours sterilizing the equipment, then 3-4 hours preparing the wort. Temperature control was whatever room temperature was, and that was never cold enough to do Lagers, so I only made ales. Then I read about BeerDroid. I was hesitant at first, as the cost seemed high until I began totaling up what it would cost to replace the brewing equipment I gave away, and all of a sudden the BeerDroid looked reasonable. The actual cost per bottle is higher than the traditional manner, but I feel the ease of use and time saved more than makes up for the difference. The 'Droid will link to your network and there is an App that can manage the process as well as keep you informed as to the wort and how it doing. However, I could not get it linked to my WIFI as I do not have the WPS option on my Google WiFi, and I did not take time to call the help line to figure out how to do it without this requirement. But it did not matter. I decided to make a lager for my first batch, and the 'Droid is automated enough to do it all with no intervention. You sterilize the 'Droid with a full tank of water and a sterilizing tablet, then drain, rinse and refill it with room temperature water. I've read some brewers use Distilled water, but our tap water is fine, and it worked fine in the 'Droid. You add all of the packets to the 'Droid except the Hops and Bottling Sucrose, seal the top, plug it in, Select 'Lager' (or whatever beer type you are making) and the device begins to perform. My water temperature was 84 degrees, and the 'Droid chilled this down to 64 degrees within a few hours. The display shows time since start and which phase the device is in. Once a day a message Popped up "Ft" which meant Fermentation Check. Apparently the device can tell if fermentation is in process or stalled based on the exothermic reaction as yeast converts sugars to alcohol and CO2. If the device thought there was too much fermentation, it would lower the temperature for the next 24 hours. At one point, I think it was fermentation day two, it lowered the temp all the way down to 55 degrees, then held it there for a couple of days. Toward the end of the fermentation phase the temperature was raised to the mid sixties, then finally 68 degrees before I got a notice on the panel that the brew was complete. I set the 'Droid into storage mode, added the hops and sucrose (for the secondary fermentation) and the following day I bottled the beer, which took all of fifteen minutes, not counting the time I spent sterilizing the bottles and caps. Now the beer bottles are sitting in my office at a steady 75 degrees and will remain so for the next two weeks (as per Brew art's instruction, and my own prior Brewing experience. At that time the secondary fermentation will result on an additional 0.5% alcohol content and a nice carbonation. I'll update this review at that time, but right now, based on a small taste of the finished brew, I am expecting a pleasant Lager. I figure the total time commitment I made to this point is maybe four hours, and almost all of that is for the sterilization process. One of the reasons got the device was to make a 'Chili Beer'. Cave Creek brewery here in Arizona used to make a wonderful 'Chili' beer - a Tecate beer with a hot pepper floating in the bottle. I loved the flavor and heat, but Cave Creek Brewery burned down, and there is no more Chili Beer. So the next batch will be as close to a copy of Tecate or Corona that Brewart has in a Brewprint, and I'll add a 'sterilized' bird pepper in the bottle just before I fill them. (I sterilize the peppers by leaving them in a Jar filled with Vodka for a day, then drain them just before placing them into the bottles. I've done this before with good luck, and look forward to doing it with the BrewDroid product. If you want to Homebrew, but feel it's too complicated with all the various traditional methods, use this device. I don't know that you can make Homebrewing easier (or better for a 'standard' recipe). I considered the BeerFlo kegging device, but I give away more of the beers than I drink, so a home keg would be wasted on me Plus, almost half of the fun is in creating humorous labels using Grogtag's website. I would buy the BeerDroid again, and I will update this review as I gain more experience with the device. To date I have not needed to call support, and I don't know if I will bother with the WiFi connectivity.. ... show more
