The FMC was a smidge naive (and at a couple points I thought to myself, “really???”), but she was good for the MMC. I’m glad she wasn’t the typical barely 18 virgin from most MC series I’ve read.     • Riley and Breaker
This is the first book in the Death Seekers MC and the first book that I have read from this author. While this is an MC book it is more of a lite MC read. Riley is young and trying to help her drug-addicted brother by paying off his debt to a rival MC. Breaker's wife passed away many years ago and on the anniversary of her death, he gets drunk at a bar that is away from the MC. Riley is the bartender and when they meet sparks fly. The next day they meet again when Riley is bartending for the rival MC. The Death Seekers look to temporarily align with the Black Vipers MC in order to take out a Mexcian drug cartel that is pushing into their territories. This was a fast and gritty read. This was a quick read. Cute story with a lot of action. Back stabbing, deals gone bad and a quick romance all thrown into one story. Characters are well developed and storyline well written. I received a free copy of this book via Evernight and am voluntarily leaving a review.

🥃 ARC Review 🥃 A young female bartender & an older biker connect in a bar over grief. They both are dealing with grief in their own way and share what they are grieving about. They share a spontaneous kiss under the night sky, then Ben Quinn (better known as Breaker, MC President of the Death Seekers) leaves in a taxi to go home. A taxi that Riley, our young bartender called on his behalf. This is the intro to Breaker by Winter Sloane. It is a quick & spicy read - Winter provides backstories of Riley & Breaker. There is some drama, some family drama, some MC conflict and of course sex. Riley is in danger with a rival MC - Black Vipers. Breaker is I'm a tentative alliance with the Black Vipers to combat a rival cartel. Will Breaker risk everything for Riley? You will have to read to find out! ... show more

Winter Sloan keeps the adrenaline pumping with action and danger while Breaker and Riley grow their relationship. This is an insta love/lust novella with plenty of steam and damsel in distress vibes. Breaker’s past heartbreak leaves him open to the sweet touch of Riley. Her protectiveness of her brother puts her in the path of a rival MC. Winter’s dialogue conveys the emotions and caring that this couple has for each other. I loved their HEA!. Breaker is Ben (aka Breaker) and Rileys story. The President of the Death Seekers MC and the Bartender have one thing in common when Breaker enters the var Riley works at, grief. Each of them, in their own are grieving a loss and at least temporarily (so they think) they find solace in each other. Of course we all know things are never that easy so there also drama and danger but they don't let that stop them. They can't seem to let go of each other so facing these hurdles head on is their only option. ... show more

This was so good! Breaker has had a rough past and doesn't think he will ever love again until he meets Riley. She brings light back to his life, so when someone tries to hurt her, he will stop at nothing to protect her. Loved their story!.
