I was fascinated by this book from page 1 and I had to force myself to put it down to do adult things. This book is just that great!!!!! It has action, love, people really understanding and accepting people as they truly are. This book has steam and plenty of sexy times enough to melt your kindle or E-reader. I had lots of emotions while reading. I was envious of their connection, I was pissed at the bad guys and I laughed at some funny moments. So all in all this book will make you a hot mess. Once you start reading you are not going to want to stop! So order in dinner make your children do the dishes and snuggle up for one heck of a fantastic book binge. I honestly cannot recommend Jayne's work enough. So read, enjoy and then post a review because I just adore reading how everyone else thinks about this and their other books. I haven’t read any of the books from the other collections. While this is a stand-alone, so it’s not necessary, I feel like I would’ve gotten more out of it had I known who anyone beyond these 3 MCs were. It wasn’t a big deal at all though. The author did a good job of writing it that way. This book definitely deals with some MAJORLY heavy content (ie shmex trafficking of minors & others) but there’s nothing terribly graphic—Rather, it’s just heavily alluded to, which is plenty graphic enough for that particular topic. Other than that content, it’s a pretty light read with some moderate spice mixed in. ... show more

I was captured in the first chapter. Jayne writes with action , mystery and great magic . The characters are so good. I didn't want too put this down. I love finding authors who bring what I like to the plate. 5 stars!!

I have had this one in my library for some time. It was marked as read but I couldn't remember reading it, so I took time out and read it. I am glad I did. This is a well written story with great characters. This is a Menage story so please keep that in mind if you get this one. It is worth your time. I'm a recently new fan of Jayne Rylon's books. This entire group of semi linked series are dramatically suspence filled and I can't get enough! Nolan and his band of misfits at Shields Security Services go into battle against society's worst of the worst, often removing the kind of evil no one else is able to. So when Nolan gets a tip during an especially difficult raid on the location of the missing sister of one of his crew, Nolan sets out to do what he does best. He's determined to bring James's sister home. He just didn't expect to bring back her best friend as well. And he certainly didn't expect to have instant feelings for them both. Best friends Laurel and Jace have kept each other going through the darkest of nights against the kind of evil most people only see in their nightmares.
