Overall, it’s a really good rotisserie except when you spend $600 on one you expect it to come with everything except this doesn’t come with a cover like advertised and it doesn’t come with a instruction booklet of any kind or even a complementary cookbook. It’s just a rotisserie in the box with nothing else advertises something completely different but all in all it works excellent and it’s a good product.

The media could not be loaded. Our family loves churrascarias and thought this sounded like a great tool to feed Picanha to a crowd. We did love the finished steak, but struggled with loading and with temperature management. Unfortunately, despite buying the more expensive 5-skewer grill, it doesn't actually fit that many when loaded with meat (particularly large curved cuts of picanha). Although there are 5 slots and 5 espetos, even relatively narrowly trimmed skewers won't fit in the first slot due to the recessed pan that fits in the top. You also basically can't have skewers in two consecutive slots or they will collide -- this means you can really only fit 2 beef skewers at a time. We have used the grill 3 times now, each trying to cut a more narrow skewer to solve this problem and realizing that only VERY narrow skewers could be next to each other. Perhaps if you want to grill small cuts like sausage or chicken hearts, this is still useful, but not multiple racks of beef. If using a (purchased separately) vegetable basket you can only really fit 2 at a time across the five slots. In summary, this grill seems to have been optimized for the 3 skewer style and then had extra holes drilled to offer a larger capacity option - so save your money and purchase accordingly! You may even have more consistent temperature management with the 3-skewer option as extra slots in this 5-skewer model allow more heat loss.

The media could not be loaded. The device works as advertised, but for the price it has room for some improvements. For example, The glass door has a gap behind that the hot air scapes specially on the left side which makes the plastic from the digital panel come unglued, that happened on the first 10 minutes of use. Maybe a oven gasket would be a solution. Also the material could be stronger, at about one hour in the metal started to bend on the side of it because of the heat. The other thing is the upper tray, when in place the pan is to low so you have to be careful about what you put on the skewer so it doesnt hit the bottom of the pan. Overall the device works well, grills even and looks nice too. Future generations of it just need a little more improvement on the details, but i would still recommend.

A friend used this at a family cookout and it turned out great, so I bought one to try out at an event, and the first thing I learned is that is blows out A LOT. If there's a slight breeze, you'll probably be relighting it, so you have to watch the temp gauge, which is seriously frustrating. I cooked a pork shoulder on it for over 2 hours as practice, and had to relight it over half a dozen times. It has been windy though, so I guess if it's a still day, you'd be ok, but good luck planning that out. It also comes with an attachment with 2 extra prongs for one of the skewers. Why only one? Where do I get more? I want more, I need those prongs for half the things I cook, and it looks like a slide on attachment for the skewers. If anyone knows where I can get more let me know, I'll order them. Also, if I let it sit for a few days, the battery bleeds itself dry. Maybe that's a safety feature to preserve the battery health or something, but I found out charging it up a week before a cookout doesn't work, you need to charge it right before you use it. Not a BIG deal, but just a heads up. All in all, it does the job. At max heat I've had it to 350F, 300F if both burners are at low. Charge it up the day before, put it somewhere where the wind can't hit it, and you'll be fine. Getting blown out by the wind is the main reason I'm rating it low, it'd be an easy 4-5 if that wasn't a problem.

I love the concept and the flavor of the meat. I absolutely hate the fact that it's not protected from a little breeze which blows out the flame. I'm in the process in making wind protector for my grill. I spent too much money not to fix this problem.

After a huge disappointing with my first purchase, I found out the fault was not from Brazilian Flame. I bought a new one product, but Amazon sent me a used one. So, I did the refund and bought it again. Now I can say I LOVE this product! It’s the best option for bbq smokeless, and you can get a brazilian style bbq! I really recommend this product.
