I think it is useful and helpful for its purpose of relieving rib pain associated with movement. It stays on pretty well because the velcro holds it well and it is adjustable so it fits various sizes. I did not have the problem some people complained of of having difficulty opening the velcro---it needs to be a good closure to keep it shut while you are wearing it. I liked this compression belt because it was the right size I had ordered and was very comfortable to use and stayed in place with velcrose on the one end.It had helped ease my pain in my intercoastal muscles if my ribcage from a great fall I had and now because of it I am now able to do things more back to nirmalcy.I would recommend this compression belt to any one needing one and the price also was so I could afford it on a low income.It worked wonders for me in eading up my pain and helped me to get through each day and night til I was healed from my accidental fall. ... show more

I actually have two of these because it covers from under my armpit to down my hip. I have cracked ribs and also chronic low back pain so these things help me keep everything in order and help me function. They are actually comfortable enough for me to wear to sleep which I do sometimes when I'm having high pain days. They are also very easy to clean in the sink and air dry. This wrap is good quality. I’ve used it for a couple of days now and it seems to be holding up. The Velcro latch is strong and the elastic band is wide providing good support pressure on my ribs. I recommend this support and would buy it again.
