    • Buttery Bokeh
I've shot with kits lens for so long that when I got this lens the quality was night and day I had no idea. My images have been elevated tremendously and I finally have that nice buttery bokeh without having to do it post. It is a heavier lens than what I'm used to but it's definitely worth it. I will say that u pair it with a second cammera body with a wide lens when shooting events ... show more

Only just received this lens from Minty Gadgets.... I have NOT TESTED it yet. But, what I've experienced is 5-star: 1) it arrived quickly, 2) Packaging is VERY secure, 3) the lens looks brand SPANKING NEW, 4) durable, high quality after market protective case was included, as well as hood and front & back caps. I'm quite excited! YES! it's HEAVY! I'll update after testing. TESTED!!! it works beautifully for me. Crisp, clear, colorful images. On both my Nikon D750 and D7100.... for the time being, I'm super-pleased with this lens! ... show more

I only just got this today so I'll update this review later when I've used it more. But Oh. My. Goodness. This lens came in looking brand spankin new! Yes, it's heavy. I knew that before ever even looking at it. I used a monopod with it at an indoor soccer game and it wasn't heavy anymore lol. I don't know that I'd walk around on a hike toting it along but I got it mostly for soccer pictures and portraits. So, the weight isn't an issue for me. I have been wanting one of these for way too long and finally bit the bullet and got it. I have no regrets and so far am thoroughly pleased with the use of it. I know less than a day isn't long enough to leave a quality review but so far so good and I'm still kind of shook at how new it appears. Literally not a single cosmetic blemish. Would absolutely buy (from this seller) again! ... show more

    • Five Star Seller and Five Star Lens!!!
My Nikon af-s 70-200mm f2.8g ed vrii arrived quickly and most important, it is in Excellent Condition and it appears to have been lightly used by the previous owner. The seller HOTOTRONICS RENEWED listed the lens as Good Condition, so it easily surpassed my expectations and I’m more than pleased with my purchase. I waited an extra day to write my review, I wanted to give it a good test drive and one more close inspection before I did. And as expected, everything works perfectly and the glass is like new. Renewed Nikon Af-S 70-200mm f2.8g ed vr ii - 5 STARS! HOTOTRONICS RENEWED - 5 STARS! Highly recommended, just make sure that the item is listed as Renewed/Refurbished and your good to go. ... show more

Not bad lens, I was surprised that it didn’t come with an original Nikon front cap for the price paid

    • No guarantees for renewed items, if it doesn’t work for you, they’ll still keep your money.
Bought a renewed lens, which made me nervous, but it boasted a 90 “renewed guarantee”, so I took the chance. Seemed great at first, but with each use there were more issues. At first I thought it’s delayed focusing was an issue of low light and motion, but then it began happening more often and in normal light. Finally it caused such extreme issues as to nearly ruin a crucial photo shoot, and never fully functioned after that, so I had to admit it was no good. I went through the return process for a defective item and received an approval and instructions for return. Today I received a refund which was $250 less, the email said it was a “restocking fee”. There as never any mention of the potential for a restocking fee at any point. And since it was defective, it shouldn’t be being restocked at all. The item was supposedly guaranteed, turned out to be bad, but I was not given an appropriate refund. If this seller restocks that item, someone else here will get it, return it, and be denied a full refund. That’s fraudulent in my mind. I would advise no one buy from this seller if they don’t make these things right. ... show more

    • The best Nikon 70-200 Telephoto lens with f2.8.
This is the best lens that Nikon made so far. I have three other Nikon lenses, but this is the best telephoto lens in my gear collection. I am going with my friend for a wildlife photography and did research for one month before I bought this. I bought this used but in excellent like new condition and I saved a good amount of money. Picture clarity at its best, I have no hesitation to say. ... show more
