I only just got this today so I'll update this review later when I've used it more. But Oh. My. Goodness. This lens came in looking brand spankin new! Yes, it's heavy. I knew that before ever even looking at it. I used a monopod with it at an indoor soccer game and it wasn't heavy anymore lol. I don't know that I'd walk around on a hike toting it along but I got it mostly for soccer pictures and portraits. So, the weight isn't an issue for me. I have been wanting one of these for way too long and finally bit the bullet and got it. I have no regrets and so far am thoroughly pleased with the use of it. I know less than a day isn't long enough to leave a quality review but so far so good and I'm still kind of shook at how new it appears. Literally not a single cosmetic blemish. This is the best lens that Nikon made so far. I have three other Nikon lenses, but this is the best telephoto lens in my gear collection. I am going with my friend for a wildlife photography and did research for one month before I bought this. I bought this used but in excellent like new condition and I saved a good amount of money.
